  1. Past hour
  2. I thought it was insane to fire Tepperer and then hand the reins over to his hand picked right-hand man in the first place.
  3. I agree on that. I had high hopes at the end of last year, but I don't think he will make a turnaround.
  4. It's not about opening the checkbook. It's that veteran pro bowl QBs aren't available. Their teams aren't parting ways with them.
  5. I mean to watch that game yesterday and to come to that conclusion is either trolling or velcro shoe level insanity
  6. Oh, I agree. I've said I'm all for bringing in someone like Howell or Jameis. IMO, when you don't have a QB you have to pursue all potential avenues. Look at the draft, look at free agency, look at the trade market. Sometimes you luck into an answer where you don't expect it. We didn't truly expect Jake to be the answer. I don't think the Lions expected Goff to be their answer when they got him included in the Stafford trade, they probably just wanted him as a bridge QB. Just look for ways to improve your roster. It doesn't seem like we do that. We think we have boxes checked and just don't even look to potentially improve. Oh, we have Andy Dalton we're good at backup QB.
  7. C'mon admit you're going, and please wear a bag and boo lustily
  8. TBF i really wanted Jalon Walker and the Falcons had the draft we should have had.
  9. Well you get a starter with that first round pick. The DL have done some things. It's one game and a half. Morgan also can't draft so it's probably garbage. You should be asking about the previous draft.
  10. 2 seems more likely. They already blew 2 very winnable games and if they don't sneaks some wins by over the next 4 games then it's the Saints and whoever else falls asleep behind the wheel again
  11. It's less stupidity and more simple delusion than anything. Then there are some like certain posters here who have carried water for him for so long they seem like they might legitimately need a welfare check at some point down the line.
  12. Currently if nothing changes they won’t win a single game.
  13. Sounds like Corbett is done for the year again and hunt is going to miss significant time
  14. i noticed yesterday if bryce doesn't get the ball out in under 2 seconds, basically meaning if his first read isn't there kaperneck, then he's fuged.
  15. hate to break it to you but there ain't a quarterback worth a damn coming to the draft. The talent pool has fallen off. We need a veteran at this point, a pro bowler, open the damn check book. Much as I said before the last draft, we can't draft. We don't hit on poo. FFS go get Jameis at this point. We could have had Wilson. fug it, push for Kyler.
  16. With the Oline regressing, with the QB still dancing a jig and the Defense running around in circles, can they possibly win five games. The remaining games are not going to be pretty. I'm thinking 2 - 3 wins at best. If they can beat N.O twice and pull another win out their ass, then maybe. What you got?
  17. panther twitter might be the dumbest collective of morons on the internet. This dumb fug is blaming the wr's and still thinks bryce is it. https://x.com/4MR_Fetti/status/1967368569873985574 imagine for a moment being this stupid
  18. It’s hard to find a vet as a legit long term starter. But it would be easy to improve upon the QB room we have today. Someone like Sam Howell might be ass but he could have been had for basically nothing. And he has some NFL level tools
  19. My time away from this board has brought to show me just how homeristic and dilusional the major panthers twitter accounts are. They're the cooks going down with the titanic and simply don't know ball. Everything that Dan Morgan has done since January 22, 2024 has been a home run to them. Legette is the icing on the cake of one of the worst drafts in Panthers history from 2024. Just b/c one guy had a sack today doesn't make this last draft great, either. They took Jonathan Brooks with a known injury in a high round last year and these heads thought that was brilliant. We traded away our most consistent weapon (would have helped both these weeks) b/c we thought a UDFA could do the job of a veteran pro bowler, but then got hurt. We can't draft so getting a 4th and a 5th for an "aging wide receiver on an expiring contract" means we didn't get anything and the team got worse as if Morgan knew and mailed it in for the season a few days before the start. Hopkins is an aging wide receiver on an expiring contract too. I guess you wouldn't want him either if you wanted to win now? These arm chair GM's continue to push until the next year. It's now been eight years of pushing until the next year. Garbage time stats mean jack poo. The cardinals immediately went back to playing serious and shut this offense down immediately. I don't want to hear about injuries, these are just excuses. Tepper sell the god damn team, you're not going to get anyone to come work for you.
  20. The problem is that finding a vet is probably an even taller task than finding a QB in the draft. Teams aren't in the habit of letting go of serviceable QBs. There aren't any vets available who their team hasn't decided that either A) this guy isn't a starter or B) this guy is washed. That's pretty much the entirety of veteran QBs that are available. It's not about next season. Forget about next season. Our biggest issue i. The Teller era is that we've constantly been focused on how we can be the best bad team we can be next season. This has clouded our ability to actually try to build a roster that can sustain success. It's just constant knee jerk band aid approaches.
  21. Our gm is mid, scouting is mid, owner is mid We opt’d to trade away our good players because we’re idiots, then proceeded to draft bust and camp fodder with said picks we got from trading away our proven good players
  22. oh i thought you had a source. this guy isn't going anywhere, tepper wants him here for some reason. The defense wasn't the major problem yesterday.
  23. Thanks for pointing this out. In looking at the data. Bryce has the most pass attempts (90) which is the same number of attempts as 40 year old Joe Flacco. He and Flacco also have the same yard per pass attempt (5.4). But as you might expect. 40 year old Flacco still has more passing yards.
