  1. Past hour
  2. Miami, Jets, Saints x 2 = 5 wins which is about right.
  3. is it too late for a mea culpa and finish building the training facility in SC because it's the right thing to do?
  4. We should trade down and get more trade assets. This team has alot of holes to fix
  5. Something we shouldn't wish for like a plane crash or a completely unlikely desire to sell a profit machine not being on the table makes it all fantasy but OK. Clean house. Hire a front office old hand through a consultant without input from the Teppers. Have new hire lead the new GM and HC search without the Teppers being in the process. The only person to have meetings with the Teppers are the new president or whatever they call him. Hit 7 wins the first year by just getting out of their own way. Continue pretending it's a football team and not a toy for clueless billionaires.
  6. They will get another win at our expense. Our only shot at wins are quickly running out. Its Miami and the Jets or nobody from here on out.
  7. I've always been saying this team has to draft their way out of the nfl basement. But they suck at drafting so here we are and here we will stay until that improves.
  8. Don't worry. After next week the dolphins will move up a few spots
  9. There's been more Heisman winners fail in the league than I can count. Its not a way to pick a sure thing in the nfl.
  10. Safe to say we are pretty stuck. So figured it would be interesting to see how people would suggest we navigate our way out of these waters. Bullet points, longer spiels, memes, let’s see it all. Anything is acceptable. Benchings, Firings, Releases, Draft Ideas, potential HCs, just curious to see where people are leaning at this stage for reshaping the next season or so. I’m still collecting my thoughts on this but have some ideas…
  11. Should have been a 4th or 5th round pick at best. And a lot of that was based off winning the heisman.
  12. It's always on the QB on some level. But I would agree that it's not ALL on Bryce. It damn sure isn't on defense and when you're getting drug up and down the field all game long it kind of forces the offense to throw, which negates our biggest strength on offense. It's a combo of factors. Constantly playing catch-up, lack of a deep threat at WR, Bryce struggling with the deep pass anyway, injuries to the OL, bad play calling, talent/scheme mismatch. It's a huge clusterfug, so why would the results not be the same?
  13. We might actually be playing a team worse than us this week. I always look at this each week, first time in a while I’ve seen somebody worse than us in every single category. Things have really gotten bad in Miami. Panthers Offense Total Offense: 24th Pass Offense: 21st Rush Offense: 26th Dolphins Defense Total Defense: 26th Pass Defense: 20th Rush Defense: 30th Dolphins Offense Total Offense: 26th Pass Offense: 22nd Rush Offense: 27th Panthers Defense Total Defense: 19th Pass Defense: 12th Rush Defense: 23rd Turnover Differential Panthers: -1 Dolphins: -2
  14. I agree. On the Mike Kaye podcast the other day he mentioned that people within the organization told him that Christensen had a very bad camp, whatever that means. They just signed him to that new contract and he always looked good on the actual field last year. I have no idea what they meant exactly by he had a very bad camp, but he should have been the 6th lineman the entire time until proven otherwise.
  15. If you're counting on it every 10 to 15 years then more power to you. In the meantime you will just have to settle for whoever is available in the draft for us to choose from. I'm guessing there will not be a generational qb in every draft going forward.
  16. So it isn’t impossible? lol I mean, the fact that teams have generational talents shows it’s not impossible
  17. And each time it was pure luck.
  18. Patrick Ramsey [insert Obi-Wan meme]
  19. Oh yes...and the fact that they all say it's gonna be the rams and Sean mccvay makes it even more crazy.
  20. Video discredited, OP roasted, thread over
  21. How’s it impossible when we’ve done it lol I don’t think you and @Jon Snowknow what impossible means
  22. Those are generational talents.Tough isn't the correct word here, think near impossible.
  23. Its a combination of things. Most of these kids are going to bad teams unprepared for the massive responsibility they are undertaking. College does not prepare them for that. In college the come into a program that is nearly always successful and they think they are the reason for that. The truth is they are just continuing there success by not playing like ass. When they get to the nfl they are expected to make an already bad team into a playoff powerhouse. Very few rookies can overcome that pressure without a really good coach who can put the right pieces around him to maximize any potential he may have. Not many young qb's can survive that and be successful. Its the nature of the beast called the nfl.
