The Panthers did that last year with the picks to trade up for Bryce Young. They gave what turned out to be the #1 pick in the 2024 draft to Chicago. What a terrible decision Tepper made to push this trade up on his team for the 2023 draft. It will take years to recover as we are witnessing.

Yeah, he was definitely trying to trade back up into the 1st to draft Clausen. Imagine trading away the #1 overall pick to draft Jimmy fuging Clausen. LOL

i dont know about every team but he definitely called Arizona and they turned him down to draft Dan Williams which is just two bad teams doing bad things.

Fantasy football nerds used to always bitch about Cam "stealing" our RBs' TDs but Cam was just our best short yardage runner. Well we know why he rolls out. But with 34 games worth of tape out there for defenses to chew on it's not fooling anyone anymore. They expect it and react accordingly. And lately whenever he immediately bails from the pocket it just ends up with him putting the ball on the ground. If he struggles to protect the football again in a game with sloppy weather conditions they need to do what's best for the team.

The optimist in me says he can't be much worse than some of the other turnstiles we've started at tackle over the years. But the pessimist says expect pain. Either way I have low expectations for our passing offense.

Skattebo is a fun player that won't be around long but I swear to god the Giants are just trying to set him up with as many goal line TD's as possible to make him appear better than he is. When I was kid playing Madden, I signed this fat, slow computer generated free agent running back with a low rating and gave him as many goal line TD opportunities as possible to see if his rating would sky rocket or if he would win MVP. That reminds me of what the Giants are doing with Skattebo lol.

I think at ESPN you kowtow to their agenda and they leave you alone. It really isn’t merit based as much as people that manage stuff like that want to get it to where it runs itself and they don’t have to micro worry about it. This incident might get their attention. which, you don’t want if you are Newton (or another schlub doing the daily grind, you really just want to stay off their radar). I don’t read him either, for a few years now. We lose so much, I generally have stopped listening to post game and locker room stuff so missing him is easy.

Moton being out certainly hurts but the hit dog mentality is tiring. Guys on other teams get hurt too. We're at home. If this team is ever going to emerge as any kind of contender they need to overcome adversity.
