TBD if the deal gets done. Likely would be Monday or early Tuesday. A 5th round pick has been discussed. #NFL #KeepPounding
  3. Let’s say Bryce ends up being a decent game manager. Which he hasn’t proven to be yet. He’s still a bust considering being 1 overall and what was given up to get him.
  4. Foreman isn't a great example since he fell off a cliff after the 1 year with the panthers and is playing for no one this year at age 29. He was great for us but if anything this is a good example of why you try to get anything for dowdle
  5. The Bus Stop is now 7th in the league with a 2.25 GAA and 12th with a .916 sv% ...and he's done all that behind a 50% AHL defense!
  6. White already beat out Hooker? Jesus that dude must be horrible in practice
  7. Good orgs don’t care about collecting day 3 picks. Good teams let guys walk in FA all the time.
  8. What excuses. Everyone said Dalton was ass. Even if he broke his thumb he was still ass and should have been replaced last offseason.
  9. Hmm, good bit of cherry-picking from the "don't cherry-pick" crowd. Wild seeing how bad Dalton was Sunday and he gets excuses made for fake injuries.
  10. Fair enough - if the mindset is winning absolutely. They’re a tad confusing though. I think we’re fine holding right now unless a good deal comes in from let’s say a NE Given the pattern, I’m convinced Cuba stays, we pay Rico but then Brooks looks legit in 26. The potential lesson being - stop paying RBs
  11. No I understand it from that perspective, but if you’re trying to win, you keep him and play him. While trading him if you don’t plan on paying him makes sense, we also chose to not keep Foreman after an amazing run to close that year out and it took us this long to find a similarly explosive RB that fits our offense. And while I appreciate all Chuba has done, we ultimately chose to pay him for being a good guy, and then got better production out of Rico on a one year deal. if we chose to pay him, it would likely not be anything near what Chuba got. So, my opinion is, if you’re trying to win, you trade Chuba, and ultimately whatever you give Rico likely fills the salary slot Chuba’s number was already occupying, and we get more production while also opening up more carries for our future back in Etienne.
  12. Darling Nikki now tied with Makar for top +/- in the entire league at +11
  13. It makes sense. i don’t see why people don’t get it. Dowdle will be 28 after his simple 1 year contract with this lousy org. So you want to sign him and overallocate our RB room for a guy we’ve only seen a 1/2 Matt Moore sample size from? Everyone just needs to take a beat. If we’re not paying him then absolutely listen to calls. Every player has a price. This team has no untouchables outside of McMillan and Brown.
  14. Literally the only reason the knives aren't completely out is because so much of the media were wrong. They all convinced themselves Bryce was going to be a great NFL QB and that's how they sold him. They've been doubling down ever since.
  15. How great would it be for The Bus Stop to send Florida home from the playoffs after they basically cut him this year?!?
  16. I’ll never understand why Bryce is being guarded from being judged without guardrails. A good player should just be able to put his product out there and stand tall with his dick in tact. Jake did it in his prime, Cam for most of his career. It’s not that f*cking difficult. This kid is such a Z
  17. This would literally be the dumbest fuging move ever, so it sounds like something we would do. I started seeing the rumors yesterday… im not sure if there’s fire there because being a home state guy, I know national media loves to speculate on trades where we’re sending out valuable assets to the blue blood teams because we have historically been “feeder” teams for them… but again, if there is fire there, this just makes zero fuging sense.
  18. 8yrs/$92m is more than he would've gotten here. I think he's probably worth $11.5m/yr in Colorado's system. I don't think he would've been under RBA.
  19. Chuba's contract is structured really well. Panthers could cut him after this season and only be on the hook for a small dead cap hit.
  20. At this point I want to see if Bussi can be the main guy. And keep the plain white mask for good luck.
  21. Bottom of the barrel starter. Basically the only debatably worse starters are guys who are rookies or first year starters, washed up, or journeymen. The young guys might still have upside, the washed up guys are on their way out, and the journeymen are journeymen for a reason - they're signed to be a bridge to the next guy.
  22. I love that we finally kept the pedal to the metal for the entire 60 minutes. That dump and trap or keep away bullshit anytime we get a 2 goal lead was driving me fuging insane! Also, Big Bussi has earned his roster spot at this point. Do we carry 3 goalies the rest of the way or throw Freddie and Pyotr in a deep pit and see which one makes it out?
  23. I would argue whether he's bottom 5, or bottom 15, it's time to look to move on. He's not in the top half of QBs this year.
  24. Haven't felt good and slept most of the day. I see Svechnikov has showed up since I stopped doing the first goal game. Lol
