Well one thing is for sure, will be interesting to get back on the QB search mindset again. I haven't spent a ton of time watching college this year outside of some Mendoza and Moore stuff. Once I dig into my usual draft prospect spiels, should be fun again I suppose lol.

I mean, Tepper is an issue. I think we use him as the scapegoat for the bad of others though. We seem to always want it to boil down to 1 guy. And it sort of contradicts what we know of Tepper. Tepper is a bad decision maker that moves on from bad decisions. Nowhere does the Tepper ego have him tripling down on bad mistakes. That's not his thing. I mean, I do believe the reporting of the split in house decision on Bryce. I think it is logical that that the split was front office and coaches. Tepper was the audience. He sided with the front office. But Scott Fitterer did his sales job on Bryce Young with his team. Fitterer's team is helping shape Fitterers viewpoint. Dan Morgan was Fitterer's #1 guy and Dan's current staff all feed the Bryce Young narrative IMO.

I am with you. They are going to drive me away if they go another year off of this recent Atlanta game. And I have been strong since we were awarded the team. It is just too much to tolerate.

I just never saw it from him. I don't see what anyone was seeing when they were talking about him as an elite NFL QB prospect. I don't see any plus NFL traits, marginal size, and now this year a lot of questionable decision making on top of it.

Young men playing a violent game for our enjoyment, just got to pray that he and they all make it through this. And save a prayer or two for the day to day working folks going through countless injuries and illnesses without these resources available to them.

I think he is but I'm not sure everyone does. But I also think there's a couple of other qb's that have a shot in the league that could be there for us if they want one. My concern is the decision makers hasn't seen the light yet.

Nuss is a strange case. He completely imploded this season.

If he's there I'm drafting him it's probably just gonna be another run of top 10 QBs. The rookie wage scale has taken the bust risk factor away so if you don't have a QB and you think there's a potential franchise QB on the board you pretty much have to draft him. Nussmeier sucks. Period. I wouldn't even look at him until we get to the "throwing darts at the board" portion if the draft.

Mendoza isn't getting put of the top 3 picks. He probably ends up going #1 overall honestly.

OK, I don't know exactly what you mean. I heard the music but was working on my tablet while it was playing and only glanced at the TV a couple of times. Was it the video they had the music over or just the music itself? I was a Queen fan back in the day and I still love to listen to their music. But I did notice that the images in the video flashed and went by quickly but don't specifically recall what I saw. i think I recall seeing images of Cmac and Brycie flash by but other than that, not so much.

Never know. I'm just thinking who could be QB2-3. As things stand now, Simpson seems to have the scouts' eyes. Mendoza next. Dante Moore is there if he opts in the draft (that's a target with a legit arm). He is probably the only guys in range R1 if we can't land Mendoza. A 2nd-3rd rounder on Maiava/Nuss/Mateer may be what we're looking at.

And most importantly don't give up your only offense weapons and futures picks to trade up to do so. You never go full retard.

Some other team will sign him to a deal, if/when we finally wise up and cut bait. Depending on the time frame, don't be shocked it's our friends down I-85 that take that shot. If it is a trade, expect a similar package the Jets and Broncos put together with a late round pick swap to facilitate the trade for Zach Wilson

If he has kids one day and goes into a full dad bod mode, he'd still just max out at like a 34 waist lol

The only question now is what to Dave and Dan do? Bring in a Winston type and draft a guy? Move up in the draft for immediate starter? Push it off another year and look QB in 2027?

No thanks on Mendoza. I don't want another Bryce-like trade up deal and that's what it would take to land him.

i read facebook and twitter comments and wonder what panthers these guys watch. 90% still commentinf byoung just needs time or better coaching better supporting cast...they cant watch the same games i watch. he doesnt havr thr athletic ability to be qb1 for this team its that simple. its hard enough to be a panther fan as it is but i cant stomach another year of young its just not doable

I would love to get Mendoza. I don't think he will get out of the 1st round though.
