  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, I'd be really salty if I got traded and immediately went to the superbowl with one of the top 2 offensive minds in the game, won offensive player of the year and was living in one of the most desirable areas in the world. We really gave him the shaft!
  3. Twas the night before the game, And all through the QC, No one was stressing, Not even Jaycee The graphic was there, With Panthers in the hunt, All the fans were just praying, that we wouldnt constantly punt, All of the sudden, there rose such a humm, Why it was 5 giant lineman, and a tiny Bryce Young, He slung from his right, Against a box that was stacked, And there on a deep crosser, He found A TMac Brown moved a lineman, with the greatest of ease, This ginormous man was able, To do whatever he please. Then in the fourth, We watched Rico Run, And a Sprinkle chuba, From the hands of tiny Bryce Young, Away he did kneel, As the clock rang at zero, Finally a primetime win, And tiny Young was the hero.
  4. The start of the 3 year run as nfcs champs really came in that niners game in 2013. We had toughness back then that I don't think we can duplicate with this roster but it is getting better. I would love another 16-13 win against a good team. Panthers football is defense and running game. Tepper wanted high flying offense and I thought I did too but after watching soft teams year after year it just ain't it. Give me TD dislocating his finger, popping it back in mid play and making a tackle. Hoping 2026 draft we look at tough defensive players and not RAS.
  5. If Bryce turns the corner and takes the Panthers to the playoffs , has decent game tonight and the rest of the year.. I'll be the first to eat crow and say I was wrong...
  6. Chuba had some burst against the falcons and Rico is banged up. I think Chuba gets more run and gets in the end zone. Cmc also absolutely kills us through the air but is limited rushing. XL catches one long pass and drops 2 others. Ultimately I want us to look like we belong on the field and see if we can steal one late
  7. The only thing that would truly surprise me would be a Panthers blowout win. I think the likelihood of that happening is almost 0. So I think it goes one of three ways, and I think the Panthers can only win one of the three ways. Option 1: The 49ers win by 2+ scores in a game that is close at halftime but the 49ers run away with it in the second half. The Panthers running game produces early and help the Panthers take an early lead, but the 49ers focus on stopping Dowdle in the second half, while Bryce falters and is largely a non factor reverting back to the ineffective QB we’ve seen for most of his career. On defense, the Panthers poor tacking being the difference in the game. 49ers 38 Panthers 20 Option 2: Panthers win a gutty, low scoring, hard fought defensive game like the 2013 win in San Francisco which was a fantastic game if you enjoy defensive battles. Panthers defense rises to the occasion and shuts down Purdy and CMC and the game is a battle of field goals. Time of possession heavily favors the Panthers with both Hubbard and Dowdle getting 10+ touches. Bryce is clutch in the 4th quarter leading the team to another last second win. Panthers 19 49ers 16 Option 3 (and I think this is what Vegas is leaning towards): The 49ers win a back and forth high scoring game with the 49ers pulling out a last minute victory. There are good and bad moments for both teams, the defenses both force turnovers and the game is back and forth until the end. 49ers 27 Panthers 25 If this was a Sunday 4 o’clock game I would say Option 3 is most likely. Given the Panthers atrocious performances in prime time games in….really the entire history of the franchise, I think it’ll be Option 1. But I really hope they can keep the game low scoring and get a gutty win which would go a long way towards making the playoffs.
  8. Pretty much Playoff football for the rest of the season... If they want to advance then they need to keep winning. Keep pounding
  9. Why would CMC need revenge. We did him a MOTHER fuging SOLID. he should sit out tonight as a thank you
  10. Until we are tied for the division lead after 11 games and sweep the falcons? I like being miserable as much as the next Panthers fan but I do like to mix it up and be optimistic occasionally
  11. Don’t know what to think. Would love to see a win to set up the rest of the games to be important and get the players confident that they can pull it off. II would be an impressive run. On one hand the 49ers D can be had if we play a clean offensive game. But our defense can be had too. And they have CMC This is West Coast, it is a bright MNF spotlight and on top of it, a win could put us in first place. My Panthers experience tells me we are up down up down. Well, we were up last week. I am not confident. Not sure this isn’t a learning experience. Something we aren’t quite ready for yet, and need to go through to teach us what it takes.
  12. Even if we lose, a good Bryce game will give hope for the rest of the schedule. Bad Bryce comes back, and pack it in. The Rams are known to have a weird game or two a year, but can't see us beating them. Seahawks and JSN...oof. But, Darnold might Darnold. Maybe Bryce and Canales will be lights out being back in California, this is maybe our "easiest" NFC West game remaining. At this point, we need to beat the Saints and Bucs twice to get to 9-8 and hope that's enough. Beating San Fran tonight would be beautiful and give a little wiggle room.
  13. We're going to get a nice old-school NFC South division winner at 8 games.
  14. Baker was dog poo. Darnold played better for us by far. Both needed to go elsewhere to up their game for the reasons you highlighted but Baker really was bad here. Darnold at least was passable.
  15. Today
  16. I will be ordering some delicious lemon pepper wings from my local spot with a side of fries and a soda. Excited to watch them in primetime hopefully they don't poo themselves.
  17. My biggest thing is that down the stretch we could be facing three different QBs that have revenge on their minds for us jettisoning us: Bridgewater, Mayfield (assuming they split the two due to Baker's injury) and Darnold. Add in that we have McCaffrey that we traded away for peanuts. It's bad karma. But we're also the black cats, so maybe that bad karma whips back around and works for us. Oh, who the heck knows. We're competitive and there are opportunities ahead of us if we can make it through tonight. I mean, when was the last time we were in first place in the NFCSouth past the second week?
  18. I love watching Kon play. Hit six threes Saturday, then set a new career-high (and tied a franchise record) with seven last night.
  19. Going with fish sandwiches on sourdough here to keep with the Feasting on the Foes tradition going. Will serve with a side of 49er fries (steak fries). And of course, Bugles during the game.
