  1. Past hour
  2. Honestly, I don't love taking another edge at 19. They usually take a couple years of development and we just took two in the second. I think we need some vet help in that unit while we keep developing those two.
  3. What are people’s thoughts on Texas Tech EDGE Howell? Would he be BPA at #19? He is smaller than I thought he was….
  4. I think pretty much the Panthers writers are there if you want team centric coverage.
  5. Morgan has done pretty well with trading down. I would be fine with it if the value isn’t there.
  6. I wonder why he really quit with 3.5 mil on the table to play one last year, and a family to look out for. He was ‘okay’ with Wilks and heavy run emphasis. We ate a good bit of money releasing him. I do wonder a little what he would have looked like with 150 mil worth of guards flanking him, compared to whoever we had (who were so good I don’t even really remember their names). Probably no worse than Corbett.

  8. Yeah, that's why I think the source is us. I can't imagine any team wanting to trade anything for the washed up version of Dalton that took the field last year.
  9. Well, he should have thought about that before he traded the future to draft a midget QB, and fired Reich because he couldn’t turn water into wine. No one wanted the job. He had to take a green entry level OC, and like it.
  10. Andy Dalton CARQuarterback#14 ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Panthers have “been getting calls about Andy Dalton for a potential trade.” Dalton has one year left on his current deal in Carolina. The team signed him as Bryce Young’s backup in 2023. He saw significant playing time in 2024 and the team kept him around as a break glass incase of emergency option to replace Young. Dalton was only needed for one start last year. He threw for 175 scoreless yards and an interception while taking seven sacks. The Panthers got trounced by the Bills with a final score of 9-40. The fact that there are still teams interested in Dalton, even as a backup, speaks to the stagnant state of quarterback play across the league. The Panthers wouldn’t fetch more than a late-round pick for Dalton.
  11. anybody got a good twitter follow or 2 for the combine?
  12. The thing I like about Bain is that even if he doesn't work out as an edge rusher, he could easily put on 10-15 lbs and be an awesome 4-3 DT or 3-4 DE. I think he is just too good of a player to bust outright. He will be a contributor.
  13. Today
  14. Agreed. I sooooo badly want our version of Nick Emmanwori. I've seen some comps to him.
  15. 100% Dan is simply trying to get something for him. Expect Andy to be released next week
  16. Yeah more soccer for me too. Leg one cashed barely with 3 shots in about 45 seconds for bvb after doing nothing all game
  17. Honestly, the source is probably the Panthers desperately trying to drum up a market for him.
  18. This feels like its most certainly coming from the panthers to try and get some interest. He is at absolute best worth a 7th maybe? More like pick swap
  19. Literally anything sounds like a great deal. I'd just love to see him gone to force us to seek an upgrade at that spot. I honestly can't imagine any team entertaining trading for him. He looked beyond washed this year.
