  2. The o-line has been mediocre when healthy
  3. its super unlikely they trade him, they are going to use him up and let him walk. he is worth more to us that he would be to anyone else
  4. I haven’t seen him but just want to comment that the mid rounds are where you are supposed to take a chance on an undersized outlier type of a guy.
  5. If you're a high 1st rounder your highly likely going to a poo situation. It is what it is. It's always going to be that way.
  6. Me and swmbo been talking about this today. I really feel bad for what those folks are and will be going through. I was last there close to 40 years ago but I bet it hasn't changed all that much. The majority of the folks living there then were 3rd world poor and losing what little they have is going to be extremely hard for them.
  7. Yes, but if they draft a QB this year or another team has a really down year....bullet dodged.
  8. Sorry you got it, that really sucks- I have heard it can be very painful and uncomfortable. Hopefully your doc put you on a good anti viral med that will shorten the course and severity and some good pain meds. Related story - I had a weird reaction to the shingrix vax which is a two course vax. Last year about July or so I got the first shot- I have never had a vax hurt so badly for so long. My shoulder felt like Mike Tyson had punched me in it every day for about two weeks. Even after that I had alternating pain and a weird weakness when lifting that arm into certain positions for several months. Due to that, I never went back to get the second shot. Hearing about your experience I may reconsider it.
  9. I always thought it would be interesting to get some type of sponsorship from the Riot or the Panthers themselves as a fan hub/fan club type deal. Maybe charge a really low membership fee (4.99/mo) or so to cut back on some of the ads/ shitposters. Upgrade the servers and all a bit, maybe add some type of corny gift when you get to a certain rank or tenure. Idk, I know it will end eventually and I will be destined to argue with the 24 year old twitter people about stuff I have already seen in the past.
  10. Those teams are gonna be ass again next year too.
  11. Eh, teams have off years, a few franchises are just poo all the time. If I had a NIL deal and still was eligible with the very real prospect of being taken by the Jets or Browns, you had better believe my butt would be going back to campus. NIL deals have reduced the lure of foregoing school for a for a quicker payday. If a QB is good enough for a first or second round grade, he's already making a million or more of NIL money.
  12. I wonder if those people realize that Bryce is 10-25 as a starter? He's 4-3 this year but in two of those we had Rico running for 200 yards, the other one he threw for 121 yards while Penix had an absolute meltdown and then the fourth he had a legit good game against the Cowboys who currently have the second worst defense in the NFL.
  13. Yep, that was the thread I was referring to in my first post in this topic. Just a crazy leap in logic. One dude in there said that he was glad we loss bc Bryce haters needed to be taught a lesson lol
  14. I hate to break it to prospects but if you're looking at being a high 1st round pick you're going to a poo team.
  15. Two problems with taking a QB in round one this draft, well three considering Bryce isn't going anywhere, are draft spot and quality of depth. So I think we are probably going to be closer to the teens than we are top 5. That said, the crap teams needing a QB this year will undoubtedly scare some guys back to school. This is a HEAVY underclassmen group. Very few of the top guys have run out of eligible years. If the board stacks like Jets. Browns...bet the bulk of the underclassmen go back to school. Then that's going to leave the class with the likes of Beck, Klubnick and Allar (whose a medical red flag now).
  16. 3rd or 4th is too high but 6th? Wouldn't mind it and that's about where I expect him to go.
  17. That's what's always going to be reported. That's always the message. Just like every player who has ever been drafted was the BPA on that team's board. It's not like they're ever going to admit that there was any disagreement in the draft room or that they panicked and reached based on need.
  18. Unpopular opinion here but I would not mind picking up Diego Pavia in the 3rd or 4th round. The dude has this Moxie about him that I really like and he is tough. I know many probably won't want him because he is undersized but I love his confidence.

  22. You can refine the point with that picture but the overall issue is that Tepper was tired of waiting.
  23. Except an NFL team has an owner and the owner is essentially the king. Anything the king wants the king will get. Ultimately he's the one writing the checks and he has final say over anything he wants final say on.
  24. You nailed it. I decided to comment on an atrocious post yesterday about how Daltons performance essentially proved Bryce is a HOF’er. Hyperbole of course, but they are some batshit casuals, immediately hit me with personal attacks. I’ll stick with my motley crew here.
  25. If I remember correctly, there was a consensus among the top brass on Bryce. At least that's what was reported.
