  1. Past hour
  2. I still have nightmares about Vernon Davis. They beat us in OT his last year of college in probably his best college game. It felt like watching Julio Jones in "that game". Like how in the fug is this big ass TE just streaking down the field wide ass open as if he's faster than all of our DBs??? Then came the Combine and it was like, oh... because he was indeed faster than all our DBs. LOL
  3. Him having a great combine hopefully means a team above us is intrigued enough.
  4. Trade up for Bryce would have been fine if we decided to go for a QB. Trade Burns to Rams. Trade Moore to GB for the 1st they offered. Trade away anyone else with a pulse and we have plenty of trade ammo and we also likely don’t finish with 7 wins and thus don’t have to trade up or just a small jump. The problem was that we tried to do both and had no real concept and so we got poo for CMC, Moore and Burns and also had to jump all the way from 9. Comedy of errors. Fitterer literally did everything wrong.
  5. Downs is a pipe dream, full stop. Styles, lol, I stopped mocking him weeks ago. Faulk, I mocked him some early on, but he too I think will be out of range. KC, MAY be there, but drafting a first round WR again is a bit much. I wouldn't hate it though. We need a true slot.
  6. Cool, now can he play TE? I had zero doubt, he'd dazzle at the combine.
  7. Pretty sure. I’m pretty sure one of the beat reporters mentioned before that everyone flies together. I’m wondering if it has something to do with hotel/curfew. Maybe last year (maybe this one idk) I remember it being said in an interview that Canales and Morgan are very strict on the curfew and keeping everyone together in the hotel. Maybe that’s it?
  8. You know how much poo I got for this? It's the same damn record, we just went into the playoffs on a tiebreaker. Yay, we made the playoffs and got bounced while missing out on a generational draft pick! Yippe!!!
  9. Trade Ashawn and a 5th round pick. That helps with the $$$$
  10. They just gave their RB a big contract, it probably needs to be someone else. And as far as Love, if he is all that someone will covet him and we can use that to help us get what we need. Which is still a lot, special shout out to the Icky injury. So in that sense I would love for Love to fall to us.
  11. I had that thought too. I would be relieved and yes, push another guy down closer to us. Please. I just don’t see us having a great reason to elevate a TE to our 1st round pick. Even at 19. There is no Cam here to sling it down the seam to Olsen. We are not playing that game and I don’t see that changing. edit: plus we have a couple of pretty good big receivers to work with and a promising young TE on the roster. I say TE by committee can do the job, in this offense.
  12. The 2025 Panthers went to the playoffs with this behind center. What can we do with a marginally better passer?
  13. This is what worries me too. Same college production as well. Makes me skiddish because there were times I felt Davis was underwhelming but he was a chain mover. Best case scenario he shoots up to inside the top 15 after this combine so another stud defensive player falls to #19.
  14. Vernon Davis. Man I was strong on him. And he did nothing really. Until after Singletary ran him off the field like Wilks did Robbie Anderson. It is a pretty famous blown gasket by Singletary, who took a lot of heat from the participation trophy crowd over that. But I am pretty sure Vernon later said it turned his head around and helped him.
  15. Today
  16. If there was EVER a year for the Panthers to pull off the fabled “Trade Back and Pick Up An Extra 2nd Round Pick”, this is it.
  17. I can't see how it's a absolutely not when I have heard more say BPA in 3 different interviews this week. So at number 19 tell me one player who is on the board that is projected to be there better than love who is a to 5 talent in this draft.
  18. Crazy enough they had similar college production which I kinda find underwhelming for such freaks of nature.
  19. I love how the huddle just so convinced we gone find a franchise qb so fast if we let Bryce walk ? We gonna be right back in the cellar trying to start over again . Yeah let’s do that lol
  20. I am too dull to understand those spreads. But my eyes say this: When he is in the pocket and steps not just up, but through a gap so that he is alone yet still behind the LOS - he has put both the blockers and the rushers behind him, and he is in the open… that is how he can find someone. And he has made quite a few good plays doing that. If he stays in the actual pocket, he is very often dealing with obstructed vision. He has made some plays from the pocket but generally they are to the outside or a bit deeper. You just have to watch.
