Theres a lot more to whats evaluated then just what you see a few snaps of preseason games. We see nothing of the daily practices and camps.

Why can’t Horn be a returner? -
He's not asking out. Minnesota called to inquire. Team asked Thielen how he felt about the possibility and he was fine with it. End of story.

I question whether its media making it more than what it is. Is AT more interested in being a Viking on the topic of being dealt or is AT no longer interested in being a Panther? Maybe im wrong. Im not really for or against this trade, but if i had to choose... i would just wait until we have at least somewhat more of answer on Bryce. Obviously this is without my knowledge of how AT truly feels. Also, he didnt need camp to prove we aren't legit this year.

What has Horn done to justify a roster spot? Neither has the TE they just drafted. Horn cannot play special teams either so he is in danger. -
Cancer is a strong word but he has had outbursts in the past couple of seasons when things were going south. I think what is happening here is he got his raise, sees this team probably isnt doing jack poo this year and his hometown team has a tremulous opportunity that just opened up for him. He knows the vikes are for real this year and more importantly last but not least it seems his wife is in favor of this move.
-
I mean I doubt he is the type that would be a cancer if we didn't move him. He has money keeping him happy for this year. I doubt its Vikings or nothing, if that were the case he would've never re-signed with us in the first place IMO.

I can believe that with Renfrow but Horn isn’t going anywhere. Panthers aren’t cutting a dude they just drafted, who also happens to have a ton of potential. -
Well said, I prefer to keep AT at this point but if he is asking out not sure how that is going to help matters in the long run
-
I mean, it probably has good enough odds to be a good flyer bet, but everything we've heard from camp from the staff is that he is slowly getting his legs back under him. Each day he is getting slightly back to form. I don't know if he would have an immediate major impact on O but likely a gradual impact if AT is shipped off. Im not against an AT trade, but i think we should wait to do it. If everything is on bryce, then lets keep AT until we get our answer. I would just hate to have injuries hit us in that room after dealing AT.

Got Renfrow for comeback player of the year. Please trade AT and make Renfrow the starting slot wr

Renfrow and Horn are not making the team so they better hang onto AT. -
Josina Anderson: Panthers NOT trading Adam Thielen

The Panthers FO and staff should be focused on actually developing their young WR's especially their two first round picks from '24 and '25 instead of airing out this real housewives level drama on social media. They had to significantly overpay just to keep him around. Desperation has rarely been kind to this franchise. Just move on already. -
Prayers for a speedy recovery.

They are still trying to develop qb1. Qb2 doesn't need development. The qb3 position only runs the scout team in practice. Until qb1 is settled the qb3 position is just an afterthought. Get use to it.

"How dare you want a competitive QB room! Say it with your chest haters!" As if it's completely far fetched to suggest Bryce Young may struggle at some point.

And made more clutch catches than anyone on our roster. Speed isn't everything. AT is wise and knows how to get open. -

It's not like we're trading a player that improves a WR room. He would be traded because he is going to fill a starting position. As someone said earlier Starter for a Starter. If it is not a starter than Morgan needs to be shrewd and take a 3rd, at minimum. -
Finally, somebody with a set that is willing to say the quiet part out loud. Idk why we have posters claiming to care about evaluating the down roster guys or acting like a developmental QB3 is the only thing between the team and a postseason run. The honest thing to do is just say with their chest that they think we are doomed with Bryce instead of pretending they give af about getting better tape for WR12.

Exactly. Id like to see "long term Bryce" this year. Every other offensive skill player we have can be with the team the next 4 years. If AT is his safety blanket and Bryce has a solid year this year we are going to pay him huge fuging money. What happens next year when that's gone. Since there is a ton of skepticism with Bryce we need to find out everything we can this season and then decide to pay or let him go. I personally think if we don't make the playoffs this year or have a top 12 offense he should not get another contract with us. The 49ers are about to be fuged like a long line of teams that paid a pretty good QB that was on a stacked offense. The money gets tight and the team suffers. As bad is our defense and overall depth is now can you imagine what it will be with Bryce getting 40 million a year.
