Why do people think Bryce Young won this game yesterday?
CRA replied to RumHam's topic in Carolina Panthers
our gameplan to win and coaching is literally all designed around the fact Bryce Young isn't a good NFL QB. PJ Walker has a winning record as a starter in Carolina. That never made PJ Walker a good QB. -

That was really dumb. Said it in the game thread. -
It was a tough loss especially at home. I don’t think we will bounce back.

You guys seem to dislike Bryce. I think it’s time to draft a QB in 26. -
They still had time to kick the game tying field goal on their next possession. They forced the panthers to kick a game winning field goal from 50 yards and in those conditions you take that every time a touchdown at that point puts the game away with Bryce at qb. Plus, that edge was just being set so successfully you don’t know when you’re gonna get another opportunity. lafleurs real fug up was going away from jacobs. But I guess he was so intimidated by the edge setting of scourton he panicked.

i wonder if the accounts are fake also. everyone on facebook is posting about how young wins another one i am wondering did these people even watch the game 100 passing yards 1int 1fumble and could have easily been another 2 or 3 ints that were just drppped by the defense. -

I think we’re going to eat poo the rest of our season. -
The cats outta the bag....Teams are going to start shutting Rico down and force our QB to play at an NFL level... something better than 100yds passing, no fumbles, not INT's...

Us going for it on 4th and 8 cost us the game too instead of kicking a FG. We likely lose anyway but at least it could have gone to Overtime. -
You’re right. Silly me to point out running back success. what setting the edge really translates to is thrown interceptions, fumbles on screens and missed field goals.
-
I really don’t understand why my team went for it on 4th and 8 in the red zone instead of setting for a FG. We could have went to Overtime instead. Still we might have lost anyway but Lafluer was awful at coaching yesterday.

Yeah, thankfully Chuba had the awareness to go after that fumble that everyone else seemed to just assume was an incomplete pass. -

No they’re another team that eats poo against Bryce for some reason -
It is. That's why I honestly hope he hits the portal. I'd like to see him in a different (hopefully better) situation.

Us finding ways to win bodes well for us in the future. At least we are building a core of players that know HOW to win at the NFL level.

I’m a diehard Packers fan. Yesterday loss still hurts. Now next week we will lose to Philly. I’m not looking forward to that game. -
Oh man here we go, because I don’t have the patience to edit my post. Casual’s are “quick” to negate a player because of stats or the obvious sacks. every position is this way too. He’s a rookie, and has shown flashes. And the fact you want to nit pick and point out Jacob’s YPC and IGNORE the fact we held Green Bay to 13 points is crazy. You don’t know ball man. im beginning to hate this board. We just win a huge game, and confidence boost for our team and as a fan base we wanna complain about a rookie who has been obviously playing well. To the point of being recognized by many who have played in the NFL and receive money for knowing the game. GTFOH bro. We ain’t perfect, but we have reason for optimism and pieces to grow with and Scourton is definitely one of them

Panthers were 13.5 dogs to GB

Are you saying we’re as bad as the Falcons? We’re probably on our way in that direction. Philly is going to trounce us next week. That loss yesterday was gut wrenching to the team which will kill their confidence. -
UFC staged? N….no

The most intriguing player in the draft, and someone I think we will need to consider, is 6'6" 275LB Edge, Quincy Rhodes Jr out of Arkansas.. The potential of this freak is off the charts!
-
Kind of surprised it's that low. I would have guessed 5.5 or 6
-
In his defense, South Carolina's oline has to be one of the worst among power conference teams
-
Intrigued by these prospects, but haven't really looked much at the draft class for 2026: Arvell Reese (I can see him dropping because he is a LB) Peter Woods David Bailey
