  1. Yeah, it looked worse than it was. He got up with a bloodied face, then had to listen to the judges tell him he sucked lol. Gold, Jerry. GOLD!!
  2. We'll know in about a month. I hope so, but after last year's late season mirage, I'll believe it when I see it.
  3. That's my all time favorite gif. I DVR'd a game or a show and this was right after it. I was like, let's see what the Jewish break-dancer can do. I rewound it and watched it 1000 times. The yarmulke flying off..chef's kiss. I was elated when it became a gif. Anyhow, yeah, if the past is any indication, that's probably Bryce next game.
  4. I think he called a good game today. The run game wasn’t clicking, but he didn’t totally abandon the run like he seemed to in the past.
  5. To continue the golf analogy, a heard a pro say that the average scratch golfer can hit some shots as good as the pros, but their bad shots were way worse than the pros bad shots. Bryce’s mistakes are often catastrophic
  6. Yeah, I watch them more like an interesting case study than an exciting entertainment experience at this point.
  7. Between his college career being in the middle of pandemic weirdness and injuries, I don't think anyone knows what his potential is at this point. Harbaugh wanted him and kept him as his #2 and he looked ok in preseason. Enough reasons to give him a shot IMO
  8. I agree. So next year, do you want Lance competing with a vet or a draft pick?
  9. I think he's just telling the team not to embarrass their teammates publicly. Not a big deal IMO
  10. I'm not sure why everyone is so confident that he can't pull off another late season mirage just to screw us long term.
  11. With accuracy. That's been the most disappointing thing to me with Bryce. I don't watch college ball, so I just assumed with his lack of size and arm strength that he was sure to have pinpoint accuracy. Boy howdy, was that assumption wrong.
  12. Not necessarily. Suggesting that they don't throw their brothers-in-arms under the bus publicly isn't really the worst idea. I'm pretty much out on Dave C. but this might be a non-issue.
  13. Bryce is going to practice against a stacked box all week and heave a bunch of 17 yard bombs. We’ll win, he’ll look almost servicable and his fans will come back out of hiding. I’m not falling for his spikes into mediocrity. Not buying it.
  14. I’m 100% sure that it’s none or all of it, or somewhere in between.
  15. I think this year was; Bryce succeeds or a natural tank followed by a flush.
  16. Agree. Our QB room is like it is by design. A really bad design, but intentional nonetheless. If Bryce's play last year earned him this year, and he needed the corpse of the red-rocket as his safety blanket, I'm kind of glad we didn't waste any more cap or draft capital on QB.
  17. There's no real thing as a QB competition anymore. Hell, the one thing Rhule did right was trying to make Sam or Baker earn the #1 spot but all it did was dilute practice reps with the ones and caused excuses for failure.
  18. lol he did sound half lit. A drunk tongue speaks a sober mind
  19. Schlereth sounds kind of smarmy for someone telling how great Bryce was for two years
  20. We're just setting up the league to open things up downfield. Don't worry, once opposing teams overload the box, out of desperation, BY9 will start throwing downfield again. Mind you, it takes Canales at least two games to make an adjustment, but when he does, Bryce will earn himself that extension.
  21. I mean, he's been pretty quiet since the draft, but it's not like the past history doesn't indicate the potential.
  22. Not everyone wants the circus. Coaches and most owners just don't want that much noise to constantly address. You know how Bryce fans will be blaming the team for his failures even after he's out of the league? The Sanders show has potential to be much worse. Deion has a much louder megaphone than Bryce's dad.
  23. The whole Keegan Michael Key thing is being over blown. It was a 2 minute zoom call. Rico's celebration etc. was like a half an hour distraction. A little bit of levity every now and then isn't the end of the world. I'm not even that mad at the Victory Monday. They won a tough game on the road and Rico and the oline were getting banged up pretty good. However, if there was a lackadaisical lack of preparation, that's on DC for not getting on that ass. Also, I cringe whenever I hear "leadership council." This is the NFL, not camp Wakanda.
