Cousins is too old, Wllson is done, Pickett isn't any better than Young, Geno might work well with Canales again but he's not going to get us any further in the playoffs. The only one I would consider is Howell because he's young and had a decent season with the Commanders. Of course he'd have to clean up his interception rate but otherwise I'd like to see what Canales does with him.

Like I said earlier, I haven't seen an extension for Howell and I believe he'll be a free agent. If he is a free agent he'd probably be very interested in competing for a starting position instead of a back-up plus he's a Carolina man. He's from Waynesville.

He's a question I would like an opinion on. Do you think Canales is sold on Bryce? That's really the question everyone should be answering.

Did they sign him to an extension. I believe he is on his last year of his rookie contract. I couldn't seem to find any extension but then again that's not my bag (following Contracts)

I think you are correct. Hubbard seems like he's not the same guy as 2024.

I would like to see what Canales would do with Howell if we could somehow get him from Philly. He's young and on the last year of his rookie contract. Considering everything he did pretty well with Washington in his one full season at QB. He has all the tools and he has some experience.

That's the point of this post. What's the plan? Probably a mid round pick on a QB that was in a crappy program but has the tools but that player is, at minimum, one full season as the backup.

So you are willing to draft one of these guys in Round 1 or 2? I haven't seen Moore but I really like Simpson and would love to take a flyer on him. The issue is. You're giving up a chance to take a quality defender that we desperately need.

How many mid to late rounders (especially lately) are going to really develop into a franchise QB. Most likely the best you are going to get is a game manager.

Yeah Cincinnati is going to trade Burrow. This isn't fantasy football. No one in their right mind is going to trade away Burrow. Be realistic. You have so many negative takes, but you have no solution. Just continual hate for a QB that has won his last 4 games IN A ROW.

So many haters on Young and while I don't necessarily believe he's the answer at QB, I also don't believe he's not the answer. His lack of deep passes is concerning but I believe a lot of that has to do with Canales. Anyhow, at our current position we are 16th in the Draft. Tied with KC on record. Who at 16 are you going to take at QB? If you aren't drafting a QB. Who are you bringing in to compete for the starting QB spot. Young is going in to camp as the QB1.

It has always been that way. i was watching a Video on the 2015 Panthers. We were underdogs going into Dallas on Thanksgiving day. As much as i would love to see us make the playoffs this year. i don't think we are in the position to go deep into the playoffs, if we made it there. I think we sit pat with our draft picks and do not trade for anyone.

Too soon to say. I like Young but I want to see the rest of the season play out.
