  1. It's pretty doubtful it will be the Panthers, but I agree that San Antonio could be a place an NFL franchise moves to, but my prediction has always been that team build a stadium in San Marcos or New Braunfels to get both the Austin and San Antonio markets. Plus a lot more space to work with. Given the success of Austin FC I think an NFL franchise might have more success in Austin. SA is struggling to support the Spurs right now (they were 27 out of 30 teams in attendance last season) and they're already starting to play a few regular season games at the new state of the art Moody Center in Austin. I know it's just billed as "community outreach" or whatever but, Austin already has an arena that could support pro basketball although they'd have to fight with the university for scheduling. end rant
  2. Well they’ve sucked ass since he got there. Same as we have with Tepper!
  3. I’m surprised the light came on for Brown this year. He showed flashes as a rookie but definitely had a slump in 2021. He’s definitely worth keeping around through the next coaching staff. There’s a lot of good pieces on the defensive side of the ball to build a playoff caliber defense. Hiring a guy like Demeco Ryans could be the right move and develop them into an elite unit. They’d need a top quality OC though.
  4. Why not let him start? Who honestly gives a sh*t? What if he’s awesome? But who the hell is going to back him up? PJ broke his neck, Mayfield broke his ankle, Darnold is pooping out his weener, Corral is dead, and Cam isn’t on the roster (yet)
  5. Perry Fewell looked like Sir Purr
  6. I’ll judge him off the multiple 3rd and 15+ conversions the defense gave up
  7. Too bad he sucks. What a waste of a pick. Maybe he goes up to buffalo and finds some success. Could be a situation where he knows trying to play on a garbage franchise isn’t worth his time
  8. Tell that to the Browns, Jaguars, Lions…..
  9. Been awhile since the Panthers have been the worst team in the NFL but it’s pretty obvious the team will struggle to win another game this season. Can we forfeit the rest of the season? It’s gonna get REALLY ugly.
  10. I say trade CMC for whatever you can get. The Panthers wasted his career. This team isn’t winning many more games either way.
  11. I just feel like this game gets super ugly very quickly
  12. These articles read like bad obituaries of a corpse that is still somehow alive
  13. We had Fire Rhule but they’ll need to re-invent that one. Maybe Sell The Team could be a message to Tepper
  14. Hurts dropped because of his size but honestly I think he's playing over his ceiling right now. I expect the Eagles to come back down to earth eventually. They have a STUPID easy schedule this year. They remind me of the 2015 Panthers feasting on bad teams. At least the Panthers played some decent teams that year. Go look at the Eagles schedule, it's a joke. And RE: Fields. It's unfortunate what's happening to him in Chicago but I can't say he had any sort of proper development plan by his team. He would probably have the most success under Mike Shula and Ken Dorsey in Buffalo. If Dorsey gets a head coaching gig I bet he takes Shula as his OC, and a QB like Fields could have success in a true read-option offense.
  15. Lol you might be right but also that’s not saying anything when your other QBs are reject clowns from the butthole teams of the NFL. We’re the new toilet bowl for the butthole team’s turds.
  16. Facts. It’s evident the Panthers shot NO shots at QBs in the NFL draft under Matt Rhule until this year, despite the desperate need for a franchise QB. They should have drafted Fields or Jones in 2021, taken a shot in Jalen Hurts in the 2nd round in 2020, just anything to have a rookie QB in the mix. Rhule’s tenure was a textbook example of how NOT to build an NFL team. It starts with the QB, and you go from there. You keep taking shots at QBs until you get one IN THE DRAFT. Arizona isn’t a great franchise but they drafted a QB in the first round two consecutive years and they’ve had better records than us.
  17. I’ve been a Panthers fan too long and watched way too much football to be optimistic about a season where the head coach was fired in week 5.
  18. Unfortunately I can’t say I agree. The players are checking out faster than johns at an hourly motel.
  19. he’s just saying what everyone already knew. Richardson didn’t have the dirt!!!
  20. Phew well at least we’re gonna lose this weekend and end this charade lol
  21. It’s also been reported that Stafford did not want to play for the Panthers
  22. Nice, we probably have some mutual friends then. I knew a dude from my HS who were pals with him too, went golfing with him. Two former Panther players went to my HS too. He was one Panthers player I always thought I could have been friends with if I ever met him because I'm a musician too but I moved to Austin haha
