  1. Bitching about it on the Huddle Watching the Red Zone channel on Sundays
  2. apparently you'd be surprised given the offense Joe Brady drew up
  3. I'd say 9 out of 10 times when you fire a coordinator mid-season the team gets worse.
  4. Not sure his attitude would be any better on this garbage team. Like jumping from one turd boat to another.
  5. I don't want the team to give up halfway through games like they have this season. That garbage does not fly with the fans.
  6. If this team gets blown out at home by the Falcons, that's it. Rhule can't field a competitive team. I need to see fight in this team and competitive games for me to even consider keeping him another season. This team quit in too many games this season.
  7. If this team doesn’t beat Atlanta this weekend they don’t have another winnable game on the schedule
  8. You could. Sh*t drips down from the top. I've got my own gripes with the way this team has been run since Tepper bought the Panthers.
  9. Both can be true at the same time. Hindsight is 20/20. Or 50/50 as Cam says lol
  10. Now that Joe Brady has been fired from the Panthers, I can't help but reflect on what a bad hire it was. And I don't think it was his fault. I don't believe the Panthers offense failed under Joe Brady because he is a bad coach. It failed because he was put into a situation he clearly wasn't ready for, and maybe one he wasn't ever set up to succeed in. I think he was set up for failure from the start. From the get-go, the offensive staff was made up of Matt Rhule's assistants or guys hired 3rd party from other teams. There wasn't a single coach on the staff that Brady had worked with before coming to the Panthers. Pair that with the fact Joe Brady had never called plays before coming to the Panthers. He had 2 years of NFL experience as an assistant on the Saints before becoming an NFL offensive coordinator. Also, the players he was given. I know a coach is supposed to make the best out of the players he is given, that is the definition of the job of a coach. But Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold aren't the types of QBs that can save a wildly inexperienced offensive coordinator with their play. Those are QB's that need the offensive coordinator to save THEM with play calls that play to their strengths. Maybe Joe Brady could have been successful as a rookie OC working with Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady. Maybe Matt Stafford would have saved him if he wanted to come to the Panthers (he didn't for obvious reasons). Joe Brady was a splash hire of a hot named coach ready to take the next step, but in the end, his failure falls on the people who hired him: Matt Rhule, Marty Hurney, and David Tepper. I don't blame Joe Brady for the mess this team is in. He shouldn't have been here in the first place.
  11. Hurney didn't hold Ron accountable like Dave did I bet. Dave was lucky to inherit a team with a HOF caliber MLB and transcendent talent at QB. He can't scout QB's worth a sh*t. Dude is great a digging up some UDFA guard though.
  12. We already knew Rivera could be better without Hurney. Gettleman proved that and I wouldn't say he was even that much better than Hurney.
  13. The players didn't quit on him until the Giants game which I believe was Week 7
  14. Is anyone else ready to bet that the Superbowl is going to be Bucs vs Patriots? I would assume the NFL is going to definitely try to nudge it that way.
  15. Like others have said, Cam starts the rest of the year no question. But I really think they messed up not sticking with the 2 QB system they had against the Cardinals. PJ has shown he can move the offense between the 20s he just STINKS in the red zone. If Cam is serious about wanting to win then he will understand.
  16. Seifert’s first two seasons fielded a competitive Panthers team. He drafted many players that are still to this day Panthers legends. That said I think Rhule will ultimately go down as the worst coach in Panthers history.
  17. Rivera’s teams always came out prepared and blew it at the end. They improved as the season went along. Rivera’s teams had late season win streaks in 2011 thru 2015. Rhule doesn’t even have a quality win on his resume in 2 seasons.
  18. If Brady goes to a top college he will need to bring an experienced DC along with him probably with head coaching experience.
  19. Jeff Nixon is basically Rhule's version of Richard Rodgers
  20. Putting the logo at midfield! best decision he's made so far.
  21. everyone except the arizona cardinals it seems
  22. Well duh. Matt Rhule padded his college W-L record by beating terrible schools.
  23. I tend to agree with this. But I also think Brady ascended the ladder way too quickly and probably needs to take a step back before he takes another step forward. But he will probably get another OC job if not higher.
  24. What are your predictions for what Joe Brady does next in his career? What he will get and what he deserves are two very different things. Brady was clearly not ready to be an NFL offensive coordinator. But I am fairly certain he will be getting a coordinator job or maybe even a top job. For some reason that guy is viewed like the next Sean McVay despite having achieved literally nothing on his own. I see Brady becoming OC on one of the top schools getting a new staff. Maybe even LSU? Or maybe another NFL team gives him a shot at the OC job? But the truth is he probably belongs back on Sean Payton’s staff for a few more seasons learning how to properly run an offense.
