Another Trade Incoming! Bills trading DE Darryl Johnson to Carolina!
hepcat replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Marquis Haynes going to IR I bet -
Jake Delhomme had tommy jone surgeries let’s hope he can recover ASAP
-
I think it makes sense to keep PJ. The offensive line has issues and his athleticism would be key if Darnold went down.
-
Lol I’m down. If we get Watson for like a 4th who cares
-
If they can actually get trade value for a long snapper, you take it. Either one. But given the uncertainty at kicker I think keeping Jansen makes sense at this time.
-
Unless he gets him for a stupid low price and Sam Darnold is still on the team sign me up for a low risk gamble.
-
Lol no way in HELL he’s worth 3 1st round picks with the risk he carries with his legal trouble.
-
I think with the new kicker I’d keep Jansen. Unless Fletcher has been great I can’t say for sure
-
Not for anything meaningful but if we get him for like a 3rd sign me the f*ck up. If he’s suspended we have Darnold. If Watson plays this is a Super Bowl contender.
-
OK, Preseason is over. Name your starting 5 offensive linemen.

Moton, Daley, Paradis, Brown, Christiansen -
If Watson is allowed to play…..

Terrace Marshall Jr. is leading the NFL

it also helps that Marshall worked with the current offensive coordinator in college too -

he's light years ahead of where Samuel was as a rookie -
Philly was going to be the worst team in the league either way. They're drafting a QB #1 overall in 2022.
-
that's how a starter should look against a backup

What are you most excited to see headed into the season?
hepcat replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Defense and seeing CMC on the field again. -
The list of the actual Heisman winners is littered with guys who never made it in the NFL lol
-
To be fair though, Haskins might have not looked his way because he is a horrible QB who should not be in the NFL anymore
-
It has to be PJ because of how terrible the offensive line is. Gotta have someone who can escape pressure
-
The second string of a top defense is not a top defense. And against a second string defense, the Panthers first string offensive line directly cost the Panthers two scoring opportunities. Run blocking and pass blocking were both downright atrocious at times. And if the Steelers first string was in, the way that line was playing….I don’t even want to speculate. But the good news is, the Steelers second string defense is probably better than the Jets first string defense so hopefully Week 1 we see a better performance.
-
We will see, but it’s obvious the guys they put out with the first string aren’t the best players at their positions. Christiansen, Daley, and maybe Deonte Brown will be starting this season. Maybe not Week 1 but it needs to happen.

I thought the joke was the article was written by David Newton

Offensive line will be a project all season. I just hope Rhule is willing to play some young guys sooner than later unlike the previous head coach.
-
What game were you watching? That was the Steelers backups and they got pressure every single play. You want to imagine what their defense would have looked like if TJ Watt and Bud Dupree played? LOL
