  1. Keep monk, trade Graham. The team is playing its best basketball with Graham in street clothes. Why mess up a good thing if you can help it?
  2. Allen had already proven he was not a starting QB even when healthy. Cam’s health was the question. Rolling with Allen as the starter was never an option.
  3. sure, point remains signing Teddy to that contract was an awful decision. Just because it nets a backend third round comp pick doesn’t change that fact.
  4. Does mid third rounder turn into Will Grier or an NFL player?
  5. I guess in three or four years we’ll know? Convoluted way to look at it. Bridgewater was an atrocious signing in hindsight. No getting around it. I mean, it got Hurney fired again so maybe it was actually a great move. Same logic with the comp pick.
  6. Arguably no he’s not. But assuming Bridgewater is better, the Panthers are still desperate to get rid of him even though he’s gonna cost us a poo load in dead money next season. If Cam sucked last season, he would be gone and the books would be clean.
  7. What a disaster of a decision to pay Bridgewater starting QB money instead of letting Cam play out his remaining year.
  8. Love it. Great exposure for the franchise and awesome for fans of the team and the sport. I’m sure Tepper would jump all over it, after Amazon’s All or Nothing and the behind the scenes work the Panthers media already puts out.
  9. What argument is it you think I’m trying to make? Seems you’re confused as to my original point or just making up a straw man based on other people’s posts.
  10. Yes of course. Teams are not going to pay market starting QB money to someone with injury concerns based on videos or a third party doctors opinion. It’s not that hard to understand, but if you guys want to be confused do you.
  11. So obviously the Hornets coaches know a little about basketball. So is the issue guarding the three just a personnel thing? Is there another defense they could play that could help? I realize they don’t have great rim protectors. I know they don’t enjoy teams setting franchise records for made threes against them every other week.
  12. Hell no to three firsts. One and later rounds, sure. Wilson is not Aaron Rodgers-tier and never will be.
  13. Pretty dumb to mention teams not signing Cam without mentioning the unprecedented nature of Covid-19 eliminating any chance to test and evaluate a player in person, especially because Cam was coming off two lost seasons due to injury. Basically no one had any idea how healthy he was. After two games in to last season it looked like MVP Cam was back. Then he got Covid, Edelman got hurt, maybe his shoulder acted up again, but it was all downhill from there.
  14. I mean it would be brutal but the odds of that happening are the same as Trevor Lawrence dropping to us at pick 8.
  15. Yep, pretty much all because Rivera made an awful decision to start Haskins against us. The stink of Rivera gonna linger just a bit longer.
  16. Power to the players. It’s about damn time. I don’t recall many folks having an issue when Eli’s daddy dictated which teams he would and would not play for.
  17. Meh, Chiefs traded way up to get their guy a couple years back and it worked out. If you think he’s your guy, do what it takes to get him.
  18. Covid plague aside, good for them, must be nice
  19. Hopefully when it comes to Antonio Brown the NFL adopts MLB’s way of not letting garbage human beings like Curt Schilling into the HOF.
  20. I’m pretty sure Mr. Unlimited* has done this same song and dance every offseason with the Seahawks. Not sure what his endgame is but his camp clearly thinks circulating these rumors every offseason is good for him.
  21. Teddy seems like a nice dude, but jfc the team was 3-6 last year and he was all fun and games dressing like a ref during a press conference, throwing flags and blowing the whistle at questions he didn’t like. Then you throw in all the screw ups, like reaching the ball over the goal line when Rhule explicitly said he coaches not to do that. Not to mention going 0-8 in games when he had the ball with a chance to score or tie. It’s actually refreshing as hell to see a FO not settling for mediocrity. Imagine if we had this type of urgency when we actually had a top tier QB with zero weapons outside of Greg Olsen.
  22. True but to be fair to Joe he has done better work since moving to the athletic.
