  1. I would think that has more to do with Darnold's inability or the play calling than Robbie's inability to catch passes. Anderson has had one bad year which also happens to be a pretty bad year in general, and yet some of you want to conveniently forget that fact in order to be decidedly petty. He was pressing in order to make plays. If he has a repeat of 2021 in 2022, then your criticisms will have more validity. For now, all it seems like is that some of you have some type of unrighteous axe to grind.
  2. Dropped passes per reception really doesn't mean anything
  3. Anything can happen, but my money is on Matt Corral being our QB of the future. I don't see us investing a treasure chest on Murray or anyone else this offseason. I just don't think that's going to happen.
  4. Baker is a distraction. He's disgruntled, rightly or wrongly. The players probably don't even want him around. The FO has to consider all of that. I'lt's even been suggested on ESPN that they tell him to stay home. If that happens, it's easy money. It's probably easy money anyway.
  5. The paycheck thing won't come into play until camp begins. He'd be crazy to sit out at that point. He doesn't know when or if he's ever going to get 19 mil per year again.
  6. They probably don't really want Baker anywhere near the facility anyway.
  7. I think that one of them would sign here given the current landscape. The only other team that could be legitimately looking to upgrade is the Seahawks. Atlanta and New Orleans have guys that could possibly be better, or at least the same, so why give anything for either one of them?
  8. Why hello! I feel great. Thanks for asking.
  9. Whatever ranking that Herbert had before playing in the 2020 season was bogus. Before 2021, there was at least a body of work to base his ranking on.
  10. Just having guys that haven't played many--or any--snaps as a pro on this list kinda just takes away from its credibility for me. I mean, I know that within this context they kind of have to be included, but maybe that just means the whole list is a contrived waste of time.
  11. Well, they forced his hand. The NFL won't ever do it because this is America where the rich can put a cost-value analysis on everything, even potential for injury and death regardless if there's a substantially safer way.
  12. What were we, like 6-10 Cam's first season? After his first game, no one needed to tell anyone that we had a franchise QB, and no one will have to tell us after Corral's first game either. Listen to what I'm saying.
  13. Come on, man, he was never on drugs. The media obviously has gone way overboard with the alcohol stuff also. Panthers fans don't need to be the source of disinformation (even in jest). It's in poor taste at best.
  14. The most embarrassing part? I don't know about that.
  15. I mean, I get what a few of you are saying, but what you're not mentioning here is that a lack of quality personnel and/or experience makes a HUGE difference on the line and in the secondary (just in general, and in reference to any newer machinations of a Legion Of Boom type defense). Between that and injury, our defense kinda crumbled, particularly on third downs. With improvement in personnel, more experience in Snow's defense, more experience by Snow himself, more depth in case of injury, a little luck with injuries, and the ability to get off the field on third downs, our defense can be legit overall this season and not just the 2021 version based on inconsistency and what I'll call ghost stats based largely on just yards.
  16. Being that he'll be on the bench, I can see that.
  17. Damn! The game already happened. I thought the game would be this evening. By the skin of their teeth too. I know it was a good one. Glad they won in the end.
  18. I will be patient with Tepper and Rhule. That's about it. I have said and will say again that I couldn't reconcile firing him after this season once Tepper made the decision to keep him. It had to be until at least through 2023 provided that we show modest improvement. You can't let a dude destroy your draft trying to keep his job. What people don't want to reconcile with the facts is that though decisions that have been made have been largely a failure, they have been made by a few guys who were still trying to get their feet up under them. Tepper, Rhule, Snow and even Fittererer in a few respects had to get their feet up under them and learn each other and develop realistic plans and expectations within the context of the pro game, and within a realistic timeframe. Now with this offseason, we're finally seeing evidence of that, and not the inexperienced bungling, seemingly harried and impatient approach of Rhule's first two seasons. No doubt that they've had some frank conversations once last season was done. Now we're getting down to the nitty-gritty since they've decided to try and build a winning culture on a foundation of rock as opposed to sand. As a result we should see some improvement in the product on the field this coming season. Mind you, it may not result in a winning season, but we'll see marked improvement.
  19. I don't know what's going going on with the dirty hat look...
  20. It's going to take a little time for the QBs and WRs to develop chemistry. That can't be overstated.
  21. I've said it all along. But I realize that time will tell, that's why I've beat the drum relatively softly. Say what you want; It's only a matter of time.
