This team FINALLY has a Safety! Moehrig has been the least talked about FA signing on this board but will easily have the biggest impact on the Defense this year immediately! So pumped for this signing as should everyone on here. The guy is a heat seaking cruise missile in the back end of our defense. Haven't had one of those since Coleman big year.

I would rather trade for Ramsey. Alexander was great but man his injuries have been on par with Horns in the last couple years.

Big year coming up for XL definitely going to have to make a large leap this year to not get talked about as a bust. I'd like us to get into camp first and see what is going on with the CB position. I honestly would be all about it because one thing i have always liked about Jalen is he wants to win and is a competitor. He wants to be great and always has been that way. That mentality is big in football or any sport for that matter. Say the Panthers do not have to give up much draft capital (4th or later) I would say do it and have a very potent CB1 CB2 combo because people here must have a short term memory because we basically have Mr. Glass playing at CB1 right now.

Talk is cheap, but like others already posted you have to have that type of mentality. It is always good to have guys from a team that was dominate and understand what i takes to make said changes. I think we at least have depth and DAWGS that DM has been wanting to add at all positions. Whether that translates to better play on field or wins/loses i am hoping that is the case.

Great write up OP This is the EXACT reason why DM drafted TMac, with his possible plug and play ability at the X role this year frees so much up for our offense. No other player on the board this year at 8 was going to do that Offense or Defense in my opinion. 3 TE 1 WR sets even got better adding Evans, which down in the redzone or short yardage situations just adds another dimension needed in the NFL to compete week to week. Saying I am excited about this group is an understatement. When you watch a guy like Coker last year making PLAYS as an UDFA I think this team finally is developing that hard nose, fight for each yard mentality that this team used to be about sans Tepper. DM played and help develop that attitude as an organization and hopefully it comes back fully this year. I am not a BY believer, but I am hoping that he is going to make me eat a big ole plate of crow this year because I think DM has done a good enough job to fill these rooms out with talent.

I personally think it would be more beneficial to get these young guys a taste of the playoffs and see what it takes to be successful. Which in turn should make them even more hungry to train and become better football players. Not position in the draft considering most at this point know that drafting players is always a gamble at #1 or #17 it doesn't matter. There are busts at all spots. So go win now and get punched in the face in playoffs to show them what a real playoff speed football is like.

Even "mediocre" QB play in the NFL is hard to find. Everyone here always acting like this is Madden and talented players grow on trees or you can just find them anywhere. They don't and inevitably this is the reason why even Sam fn Darnold got a bag this offseason. 49ers draft well for their scheme so they will be fine. If this was other franchises it would be tough, but i think they will be fine.

Season is a bust if we are not at least in the conversation of winning the division......Other than Bills, Packers and Bucs I honestly don't see a team that should blatantly beat us. Our defense on paper is better, maturation of some young guys as well as possibly having a better Offense playing complimentary football instead of just being on the field constantly. I just want to see a competitive team again, WE NOT ASKING FOR MUCH!

Remember when Jamar Chase was in camp and people made a big deal about him saying he wasn't used to NFL footballs with no lines on them? People saying oh man he's going to bust! How'd that end up?

Great move Dan Morgan......dudes feeling himself too much. "I feel like I played well" 5.5 sacks don't cut it IMO for a starting OLB/edge. Like most I would rather the hungry younger players get after it instead.

To be honest I don't know enough on how the NFL CAP structure works as far as how much Salary vs Singing bonus goes and how much comes from the team owners purse. Maybe there just shouldnt be a CAP i dont know. I just know players only getting 51% and owners 49% is imbalanced and I want these young guys to make as much money as possible considering what they put there mind and body through for our viewing pleasure. Major other sports leagues have figured in out so I get what your saying. I am just saying fug the owners and Goodell making 60 mil a year when these guys are the ones putting it on the line, that's probably the most socialistic view I have in my life so it is what it is........

No doubt, but unless you get drafted like top 20 in the league now you really are not making much or at least taking up room on the CAP. So again I am a believer ALL NFL contracts should be guaranteed money, so I for one celebrate these guys wanting that and hopefully drive these billionaires to cough up more of their money to literally start spreading the wealth.

That Dowdle singing is about to be one of the sneakiest best moves for this offense. He's a great compliment to Chuba. Etienne drafting was good as well, obviously we all knew this was probably the most likely outcome after he injured it again last season. Silver lining Dan Morgan had a learning experience early in his career here as GM.

I'm all for fully guaranteed contracts for NFL players as a whole personally, so i say GO AHEAD YOUNG BULL! These billionaire owners have been getting away with some BS in the NFL for years when NBA and MLB have found a way to do it. Granted more games, but still NFL\Owners could do it and if that douche Watson can get fully guaranteed than all these guys deserve it. Football is violent, aggressive and mostly detrimental to long term health. Congrats to this young man getting paid! Quite been jealous over another mans success, congratulate and move one.

1 main reason i LOVE this move is because how many times did we see the Rivera or Fox era play older guys who honestly shouldn't have been on the field only to be put there for seniority. Holding a younger guy back from developing and stifling their progression! This shows me DM is saying fug that! Lets get these young talented guys reps and ready to fn roll! Coker was great example of that last year trading Johnson mid season. Having a GM who was also a player i think helps with that mindset. Understanding father time is undefeated and you have to go with younger, faster players even when they don't have a ton of experience. Love it and each move DM is doing this offseason is getting me to forget how much i hate our owner and back to feeling good about this team. Lets sign a Safety and rock this division this year!

Now go sign Zadarius Smith for crying out loud! Never can have too many pass rusher in the rotation! Our OLB position is a lot of unproven right now this teams needs some sort of veteran presence.
