Brady won’t be able to handle LG. I’d you are forced to play Brady he plays LT and Ickey at LG. I’d rather keep Icky at LT and play someone else at guard of course. This isn’t Mike Mayocks fantasy land, you can’t just say all players are interchangeable from tackle to guard. Brady is upright with no power in his ass, alas, not a guard.

I think if Howell slides to late round 2 or into 3 is the only scenario. The price will be steep, we’d have to lose a good player….maybe Brown. Guy hasn’t been the wrecking ball I’d thought he’d be.

Ideally we would upgrade that spot and Brady would be the first tackle off the bench. I don’t believe he will ever make guard. He does not possess the lower body to handle 315 DTs every snap. His problem at guard last year was getting sit down. At tackle, mental errors and lunging, feel much better about fixing those.
