  1. I banged the drum for a vet while we allow Corral to come back and develop. Clearly I was wrong on Corral, but damn that was a cheaper way to fug up.
  2. Here’s the thing about that test. I don’t necessarily think the S2 test is worthless. Might be, but maybe not. The thing is…”processing speed” only matters if you are athletic enough to play in the NFL. Young isn’t half the athlete Corral is. Their arms aren’t even comparable. And Corral isn’t even in the league anymore. Not even sure he’s alive tbh.
  3. How could the decision makers who saw these guys in person NOT SEE THAT? Unbelievable.
  4. All I know is an interim coach with largely Rhules staff had every position group playing better than this staff with coaching experience dating back to 47 B.C.
  5. …I’ve watched all those guys. But it’s like commentary is told to compliment this kid. All he does is 8 yard throws. This kid makes Teddy 2 Gloves look like Big Ben.
  6. Best case scenario is this kid becomes a game manager who takes what the defense gives him. Stroud does what he wants to the defense. Every throw looks effortless. The people who evaluated both these guys IN PERSON, who made the final decision to take Bryce…bye bye. You don’t know what you are doing.
  7. Never heard any other QB get “nice throw!” comments from the commentary after 8 yard throws. That’s such basic poo and he gets sucked off for it all the time. He’s so “composed” though. It’s like talking heads just want nice guys out there, and winning/production comes after. Was Cam ever complimented over an 8 yard throw to a TE over the middle? No…he just balled out on Sunday and got criticized for the towel on his head. It’s all bullshit.
  8. Just go ahead and tell me how overrated Burns is and how air defends the run better than he does.
  9. Panthers (6-1): “Happy for them” Panthers (1-6): “fug dem kids”
  10. Luvu only getting a 78 validates how meaningless PFF is. Dude should have got a 283.
  11. It’s probably just the age we live in, and not winning…but I don’t recall a player as good as Burns being this poo on before by the fanbase. The pass rushing ability between him and the next edge on our roster is drastic, he’s a good dude, he gets better every year, causes no problems. He has elite edge size and length, and is still young and about to enter his prime. I’d love if he was also had DT like run stuffing ability, but it’s a hell of a lot easier finding run stuffers than pass rushers. Sure he misses some tackles, but that tackle he missed is often behind the line of scrimmage, and his penetration allows others tike to clean it up. He isn’t perfect. But damn he’s talented as fug and on an upward trajectory.
  12. At this point, people thinking Burns isn’t worth $30 mil per are delusional. I don’t mean that as an insult. The market is the market. It would have been nice getting the deal done earlier because it would have been less, but the numbers only go up over time. We naturally have certain numbers stick in our head, but it always inflates. Then we say things like “well this guy makes this much and he’s better than Burns so Burns shouldn’t make more”, but it’s irrational because Burns is getting his contract after that “better player” and the market has adjusted. That’s why every QB contract is the “richest QB contract in history.” It always goes up. So does the cap. A lesser pass rusher just got a deal we don’t think Burns is worth…but that’s your opinion, and not the opinion of front offices in the NFL. Clearly.
  13. His hands were his weakness. Big props to him for putting in the work. And Tremble too. He’s looking much improved and it’s something else that it took Thomas getting “injured” for him to get on the field. He’s already shown more than Thomas ever had “imo”.
  14. To be fair, the huddle has also been wrong more than Scott Fitterer too.
  15. Of all the posts to “chill” on here…THIS is the one? Lulz
  16. Yup. How about we pay our best pass rusher who is entering his prime with a contract that lasts the length of Young’s rookie contract. Burns is one of the few players worth watching. We’ve already given away the two most entertaining offensive guys.
  17. Yeah even if it’s not their fault…they need to go. I mean coaching staffs are turned over for losing with depleted rosters. That wasn’t their fault either.
  18. I’m an idiot but on discord, I can embed by changing “x” to “fxtwitter”. I’ll try it on here. https://fxtwitter.com/schultz_report/status/1716889861930750146?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA Edit: welp…I remain dum dum.
  19. Didn’t say Burns was better. It was a joke about how hyperbolic people are with their takes on Burns. My opinion is that Bosa is the better and more well rounded DE. He’s also on a far better team that wins games. If Bosa was on this 0-6 team, negativity would pick apart his game too and exaggerate his weaknesses and downplay his strengths…just like with Burns. You can disagree, but it’s ridiculous how people rip Burns apart when he doesn’t beat his man every down…when Bosa; an even more elite player (and Garrett, and Peppers, and White, and Deacon Jones, etc), also, clearly don’t win a lot. It’s the NFL. The tackles are great too. People just don’t appreciate what they have until it’s gone. Peppers was lazy and took plays off…now “Burns ain’t no Peppers.” He isn’t Bosa, Peppers, or anyone else. But he’s Burns…and he’s a damn good player.
  20. My favorite receiver as a kid. Who remembers Moose, Walls, Jeffers, Beuerlein lighting up the league? If we only had a defense in 1999.
  21. That can’t be right. Bosa is elite and always makes the play in critical moments and on 3rd downs. Unlike Burns. Did we trade him yet? He doesn’t finish plays, can’t stop the run, takes plays off, and just doesn’t care. Hennessy is cliche, and Spider-Man is stupid. If he wants elite money, then he should have (checks notes) 2.5 sacks like Bosa.
  22. I was going to agree but I only cringe when it’s a Cowboys fan or a perennially successful team like the Pats before Brady left.
