If Wilks shares his attorney's opinion, it will change my view of him. He lost out to a coach with more experience with a better record and he feels like he was cheated? I get being very disappointed but he faded at the end and flaws were becoming evident. In many ways, Tepper would have "looked better" if he stayed with Wilkds but he felt the team was better with Reich. To me, this type of attitude won't help minority coaches get hired quicker, it will atually hurt them.

Glad it's worked out for him. He was a good teammate, worked hard and made headlines for the right reasons.

Gotta wonder if Bozdeman snapping the ball when least expected didn't ding him a bit.

Nepotism is not the correct term for hiring your wife. The correct term is survival.

Sam had a rough game but has not yet mastered throwing through completely covered receivers to move the chains. But I agree, we need to move on.
-
Then I hope Stroud can connect with fully covered receivers.

We are not average - we are textbook mediocre.

According to IB Journo, Harbaugh's people contacted Roger Goodell and said he had interest in running the entire league but was willing to settle for full control, which is substantially less power than the current commissioner has had.

I'd take Reich or Caldwell and a couple of the young OC instead.

No Jim Harbaugh - Carolina focusing attention elsewhere
RevJ replied to therealmjl's topic in Carolina Panthers
My guess: Harbaugh kept shouting "go team" while Tepper was asking him about favorite meatball recipes. Harbaugh asked for total control, including one day a month when he worked at a DMV and told everyone they had the wrong paperwork and made them run laps around the office. Harbaugh kept saying "there's something on your desk I must have" and smiled in a way that even Tepper found to be creepy. -
Official Panthers at Saints let's get this over with GameDay thread

I just woke up - did we actually have a receiver get open?? -
Moral “players love Wilks” victory next week!!!
RevJ replied to Wanderlai's topic in Carolina Panthers
And if the players decide the next head coach, we'll get what we deserve along with the lowered draft position. -
Some of us clearly were on record as liking his character but thinking he lacked what was needed to be a top flight Head Coach. If you saw the decisions made/not made today and feel differently, that's fine. I thought it was his worst coached game as far as in game decisions and stategy. As many of us have said, grett guy, but basically an equal to slightly lesser version of Rivera but from Charlotte.
-
IMO, he clearly failed HC test today. Timid on 4th downs, missed a challenge call, missed calling TO when clock ran out, and clearly did not have the team as ready to play as Bowles did. Add to that the fact that we kept leaving bad players on Evans 1 on 1 and it's hard to find much positive this game to push him over the top. If we want to be the Titans the next few years and have a tough team that is respected but keeps coming up short, he is our guy. If not, we need to launch a search.

Sorry, huddle legend, not star.

Wilks is saving timeouts for next week to clinch division runner up in standings.
-
I think we had 12 men on field because that's how many Fournette carried into the end zone. Remember the sack and then score when you talk about which coach had team ready to play.
-
Not sure who Anthony Nelson is but he hjust owned our star LT - possibly even more than Evans owns our secondary.

Good holding call NFL

I think we are set at punter

Wilks and staff have missed almost every situational decision. Missing the TO is just the most recent. Just a less than avearge look

We'll see how good outr D is now. Want to win division, make a stop
-
Even if we pull this one out, if we don't ratch it up, Saints will wear us out next week.

even with the block, doesn't feel like we should be ahead
