Obvserver’s Alexander interview with Fitterer
saX man replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nice article, agree that it's nothing to try and decipher/read between the lines. We're looking hard at the top-3 QBs, definitely like Ridder but it depends on how we stack them up against the other top talent. We'll see. -

You seem like a good ole’ dude and I’m grateful you keep bringing yourself back to this site. -
His public speaking voice has a weird accent to it. He's got his own Anna Delvey situation going on. He's so baysssic

Orlovsky: Pickett doesn’t have anything that isn’t coachable

The same redundant posts are just as annoying as redundant threads my friend. -
I think Neal is #1 on most boards, but Ekwonu is not a consistent 2, although Ekwonu may be #1 on some, it's all team/coach/scheme dependent. There's a handful who are all about having more of the big bendable frame at the left with less looseness in pass protection. Ekwonu gets a bit careless/sloppy but Penning is going to be very difficult to get around and will have little issue with having the bend down pat at his size in pass protection. He's going to be an issue. Ekwonu better overall right now, Penning, higher ceiling, athleticism+size combo with better pass protection and handwork. Just the whispers on my end. (Which is basically SF and Indy FOs)

He’s our pick if there. We like Penning over Icky so could be interesting if Icky is available with Neal gone at 6. People here may be up in arms but we could go QB over Ekwonu. Not the case w Neal. Neal is a man amongst boys.

Seattle is our only hope. A 20 to 2 swap is insanity and has never really happened before.|

Is the Dream of one of the top 2 tackles dead?
saX man replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
One of Icky or Neal will be there, I have a sneaky suspicion. Question is if it’s because of Malik going high or others; I suspect it could be others. If no QB has gone and one of the tackles are there, we’re gonna wait for any/all calls to move down. I firmly believe Corral, Howell & Ridder are the targets at QB. Penning, Zion and Tyler Smith on the OL. Also, a trade target in the mid rounds if we gain any picks is Thayer Munford Jr OL and also Channing Tindall LB Also—I do believe a few teams have Penning higher than both Cross AND Icky. We may be one of them shhhh. -
I’ve always been impartial to Nate Sudfeld.

Hopefully not too heavy of a hand on their end, don’t want it to shatter.

Hi Zod, It appears they may not be as enamored with Pickett as presumed. They like him a lot but they see the issues with Scott and Ben in the picture. I hear recent rumblings about Ekwonu being there for us 1. Aiden 2. Malik 3. Walker 4. Hamilton 5. Neal But that takes away from a trade up unless a team wants Pickett. I also hear teams LOVE Penning. Cross only a select few (scheme dependent, but hear we’ve shown interest w/a private interview)

Feeling sassy and sort of relieved (due to decisions out of our control) So they made some favorable moves at OL and safety. Shored up LB and had some depth signings at skill spots. Love Bozeman and Corbett. We suddenly have 3 really set spots on the line. Most we’ve had in forever. They’ve also set it up to ALMOST pick BPA at 6 but it’s still obvious how desperately we want a QB. We all see it. Desperation is flooding the facility and fandom. From the diehard to the casual fan to the distant observer. However, we were saved by outside forces to not make a sizable trade where neither side usually pans out in the long run. Quarterback and Coach remain the conundrums. And none are to be seen. But I will raise a glass to what’s been done. Rhule has the slimmest of margins to be redeemable but I still see a high likelihood he goes after/or by 2022. Sax’s prediction: 1-JAX: Aiden Hutchinson DE 2-DET (trade): Malik Willis QB 3-HOU: Travon Walker DL 4-NYJ: Sauce Gardner CB 5-NYG: Icky Ekwonu OT 6-CAR: Evan Neal OT I feel it folks… We trade up for drumroll…Howell round 3. McAdoo becomes interim by week 8 Neal-BC/Elf-Bozeman-Corbett-Moton Cordially, Sax Man

Offseason finally here. Let's get down to business.
saX man replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
We can try to build in FA but it also means we need to either overpay or find someone willing to come to this sinking ship. We can restructure and probably eek another $5 mil to spend putting us at $29 mil in space. Factor in the draft class and a cap clearing or two we have about $22-25 mil to spend on FAs. That’s 1 or 2 nice OL contracts if we’re lucky. -

One thing I’ll say—Brady holds that hall so we’ll. Look at that ball grasp. Firm. Grasp. Ball.

How far would the Stafford led Panthers have gone?
saX man replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we were shunned by FAs last year (including Stafford), we’ll be like canvassers getting the door slammed on them this offseason seeking decent free agents. We are twirling down the porcelain passageway folks. -
Darkwing Duck Van Dyke? Howell could be good I say.

Willis or Corral is the way. I see no other way. And yet so many ways.
