I think we need to focus on getting Derrick Brown some help. Another WR, LB, and continuing to draft o lineman as contingencies would be a wise move. We need depth at Center.

I would definitely expect Morgan to trade some of those 4th’s and 5th’s to get us another pick the in 2nd or 3rd.

Burns is just too light and doesn’t have the muscle and aggression. He likes the agility aspect of pass rushing but can’t take getting punched in the face and taken head on. Peppers faced some similar criticism at times. But he blocked FGs, consistently got sacks, could play spy, LB, and get interceptions.

I mean you gotta consider Bryce had like 3 TDs dropped today and a big XL completion that was dropped. This was definitely his best game. They just gotta improve in the redzone.

This is a good team with a healthy Sanders and Derrick Brown. Another restock with some solid options in the draft and I think we’re gonna be really strong.

Refs rigged that game though and stole our momentum. Head judge was a Broncos fan. Cotchery caught the ball. Denver was offsides on our missed field goal. Cam was headhunted multiple times without flags. It was Manning’s retirement game. I knew we were fuged when the championship round was over.

Refs have been cheating Carolina ever since the Dallas game in 05 when Peppers blocked the field goal and was penalized for roughing the kicker. Only got worse when Cam, an unabashedly black and cocky QB dominated the league and the old crusty ass guard of the NFL couldn’t stand that so they had to throw Manning a retirement party for SB50. I suspect it will only really improve when we sign a big time vet with a nice story the NFL can go along with. Or Bryce Young gets better and his good guy narrative becomes plot armor for the NFL to make him the next Brees.

I’d rather keep the heat on Bryce and see him rise to the occasion. He’s taking steps. But we need to see if he can take leaps.

Brown needs some help. Personally I wish we could go back to the 4-3 but I’m not sure if that fits who we’ve invested in last year (Wallace, Jewell).
