  1. I think a lot of that will depend on Bryce. If he’s as good as advertised then it shouldn’t be a problem. We have the right type of WR to adjust for every situation pretty much .
  2. Yes 100% I think life is probably quite common. And I think we will likely discover it on Saturns moon Enceladus, and or Europa. How intelligent? Not sure but I’m willing to bet there is at least microbial life at its volcanic vents. Not to mention Mars which was once Earth-like for billions of years. That’s potentially 3-4 bodies that harbored life in one solar system.
  3. This is the "didn't do his research and just read the spark notes" type of article.
  4. You should just quote me next time. I'd wear it proudly.
  5. I think Cam with a full offseason is better than all of these guys. So he would be my wild card. Cam Newton Sam Darnold Taylor Heinicke Andy Dalton Baker Mayfield PJ Walker Teddy Bridgewater Kyle Allen
  6. Wish they would make a rule that you can't win by field goal under two minutes.
  7. Jesus Christ how much more are we going to handicap defenses? Literally no one will get pinned deep. This also hurts homefield advantage. Hope this doesn't apply to punts either.
  8. Matt staying to compete and making himself and Bryce better only does good things for us.
  9. We're gonna get DJ back in a few years when Bryce is in peak form.
  10. I agree completely. I think our WR room is more stacked than people think. It’s also not necessarily about having studs everywhere. It’s about being able to call the play you want at any given time and knowing you can win the matchups. Which, dare I say is possible with these players.
  11. I think it’s a little more encompassing than that. A lot of QBs have the mental make up to play the game but don’t have the other tangibles/intangibles. Not just physical traits, but peripheral vision, pocket awareness, touch, nerves, and anticipation. It all comes together. Delhomme is an interesting example. In his prime he’s a tier below the Manning/Brady/Ben/etc in his processing and command of the offense. But he made up for that with the arm he used to have. He could make throws that should have never been made. And he was clutch and gutsy. And when tommy john happened it exposed his liabilities and reliance on Smitty. Brady might have been a below average athlete by NFL standards. But he’s still 6’4 with a great arm that doesn’t require him to torque so much. It’s fair to be concerned about Bryce because he’s small you worry about him getting smashed. But the things that make him great would make any QB great and are occurring regardless of his size. So I’m aboard the train. I’m not worried about him being effective. My concern is him eventually taking the wrong hit, and his arm wearing down overtime.
  12. As long as he can throw 60 yards he’s fine.
  13. Im gonna go with the Saints. I've always had some respect for the Buccaneers. The Saints have always been a trash team that only got anywhere because of bounty gate and the refs playing storymode post Katrina to give them a Cinderella story. Brees is also one of the most overrated QB's of all time. I hated the Falcons in the Vick era because he always owned us, but we seem go tit for tat with them.
  14. Luke was the Manning of MLB's. He extended Ron's stay here. Crazy thing too is Dan Morgan had HOF potential. I don't think he was on the cerebral level that Luke was but they were similar. Dan was a more vicious player if I remember correctly though.
  15. I think Cam was top 5 from 2015-2018 before the Steelers game. The thing with Cam is his impact isn't revealed in traditional stats. He dictated the game in different ways.
  16. Smith is legitimately one of the best of all time. Probably top 5-8 imo. People don't realize it but if you do the research, it's astounding how many less targets Smith got compared to his contemporaries at the time. I'm talking like 30-40, to sometimes 50 less targets per season. I'll go to my grave saying that Smith was better than Harrison, Wayne, Bruce, Holt, and Larry Fitzgerald. Had he got to play with Manning, Warner, or Brady in his prime he would have embarrassed their numbers.
  17. Are we going on prestige or just ability on the field? QB- Cam Newton, Jake Delhomme RB- CMC, Deangelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart FB- Brad Hoover WR- Smith, Muhammad, DJ Moore, Ted Ginn TE- Olsen, Walls LT-Gross LG-Wharton C- Kalil RG- Trai Turner RT- Moton (Really temping to put Otah here, but Moton is so well rounded) 4-3 RE- Julius Peppers DT- Kris Jenkins NT- Star LE- Greg Hardy ROLB- Thomas Davis MLB- Luke Keuchly LOLB-Will Witherspoon 3-4 DE- D. Brown NT- Jenkins DE- Short, Star EDGE/LB- Julius Peppers, Kevin Greene, Brian Burns MLB/ILB- Luke Keuchly, Dan Morgan, Thomas Davis SS- Mike Minter, Thomas Davis (I'd rotate him here in the 3-4) FS- Deon Grant CB 1- Chris Gamble CB-2 Josh Norman CB 3-Jayce Horn (Out of position but has the athleticism to play the nickel) K- Kasay P- Sauerbrun KR- Micheal Bates PR- Steve Smith
  18. Meh. I think best case scenario we would have beat Dallas. Wilks proves himself to be a decent HC. A better Ron Rivera. Sam Darnold gets resigned. He ends up being a more talented Delhomme. But never a top 5 QB. We would have had a good to great team without a super star QB. We haven't seen what this new team is capable of. Who knows. We might end up being trash. But if Bryce is the real deal then we are going to be dictating games through our offense. Which isn't something we've had since prime Cam.
  19. I don’t remember him getting hurt. What happened to him? Makes sense though. I always wondered why he only had a few good games.
  20. We’re just going to line up Derrick Brown at RB in shotgun and he’s going to toss Bryce over the line for the first down.
  21. Stephen Davis was awesome. But his gift was his vision. I don’t think his all around talent level was on that elite level like Stewart and Williams were. Deshaun Foster had buckets of talent also. But I think that acl tear he had his rookie year capped was his potential could have been. He was my favorite player after Biakabatuka.
