Scott’s been a good GM. I’d like Harbaugh as HC though. There is such a thing as momentum and right place right time though. Can’t just assume Harbaugh would be an automatic W for us.

I don’t think Jackson would have decided the game for us. He might have saved one TD. But JC is just on another level. He was the real piece we were missing. Jackson has a tendency to get beat right at the wrong time.

40 years ago you also had more natural athletes. The whole system needs to be changed. The meat grinder of the NFL and college/high school ball creates these freak athletes. I always chuckle when a player smashes another and the other guy gets knocked out of the game. Then they say post game they say they weren't trying to hurt them. And maybe the intentionality wasn't there, but what exactly do you expect to happen when blast a dude in the head at 20mph?

The only way for the NFL to survive is to make it a more finesse sport. The bigger, stronger, faster mentality has pushed biology to its limits. If you don’t play QB or Kicker you are going to get brain damage playing the game, not to mention the linemen destroying their knees and stressing their hearts and organs with abnormal weight gain.
