  1. The biggest benefit to a team president is to pick the right GM. It also potentially opens the door to a wider tree for scouts, finances and contracts, front office people. Of course none of this really matters if Fitts stays. I don't trust the Teppers to keep their nose out of any of it far enough to not significantly interfere with building at least a mediocre franchise.
  2. Beginning of the season before we selected a HC. I legitimately thought we were going to take a shot at Steichen, Johnson, or Ryans. But we hired Frank and my dreams were crushed.
  3. Steichen was my number 1, but I really wanted Ryans as well if we went with the defensive minded HC. I love his passion and that he DC from the sidelines so he could be there with his players. Ryans probably had more energy from a loud fart than Frank had all season
  4. Fitts laid that bar across the Grand Canyon and is mooning them from the bottom.
  5. He's actually much better against the run than Burns.
  6. His toughness is the one thing I don't think people are questioning. It's everything else that has people asking WTF.
  7. From what I remember of the pre-draft process, BY was highest floor and lowest ceiling of the top 3. I don't understand how you give up what we did for the player with the least potential if successful. I was and still am a huge AR fan, but the biggest concern I had was him trying to run in the NFL and the pounding he would take resulting in injuries and a shortened career. He would also need the right coach. At 1, Stroud was the best pick given the trade. Safest QB passing ability with the lowest risk of injury due to size and playing style.
  8. The Huddle has been right about more draft picks and trades than Fitterer.
  9. Reich is getting 30 million reasons to not GAF
  10. Don't disagree with any of that. But if the fans have been able to see since preseason that he wasn't ready, it had to be damn sure obvious to the coaching staff he wasn't. This season was never about winning. It was about Tepper proving he knew football. No one should give 2 shits about where a player was drafted, put the best damn players on the field, period. This is a got damn poo show. Fug Tepper and his bitch Fitterer.
  11. To show you actually give a fug about winning.
  12. Bryce should have never been the starter. He was never ready. This was all about playing Bryce, not about winning. Unfortunately, Dalton has always been our best option, such as it is. This is about Tepper and being in control. He and Nicole drafted BY, and he can't look like he doesn't know what he's doing. Except for everyone watching knows.
  13. Burns isn't getting a top 2 pick. Bryce is worthless at this point in a trade.
  14. If you look at those 5, they all can get separation without it having to be created by play design or a missed assignment. For whatever reason, going back to Benjamin, we seem to love big receivers who can make the contested catch (theoretically), but they can't seem to get open to have a QB look their way. Look at AT. He's not the fastest guy, or the biggest, but his routes are as clean and sharp as any of the top receivers and he can work himself open. We need guys who can get open enough to make a catch, not just ones that can make a contested one.
