Super Bowls used to be won by defense, that has changed now. Offensive head coach is the way to go now. Panthers have always had defensive head coaches and never had back to back winning records. If you have a good QB that can carry the team, then yes, a defensive coach might help. But we need someone to teach a rookie how to play in the NFL and will not get a head coach job somewhere else.

As I said way back in training camp, without Corral getting reps in practice, and going on IR. We don’t know what we have in him. With a good OL a young QB can flourish. But we will have a new coach and he will want his QB. if we could run with Corral, we could run the draft. We could trade out, or take Anderson to play with Burns. Our Defense would be awesome. trading out from 3 would produce a lot of picks this year and next.

I didn’t think about it, but if the QBs were getting limited reps in training, maybe the WRs were getting limited reps too, since TMJ was down the depth cart and didn’t get the reps

Get back Horn healthy, find a MLB in the draft, but don’t trade, release or anything else on the defense side. I know Brady was off and his WRs could catch anything, but I like the way this defense is playing right now. on the offense, do what ever you want, trade, release, or dump players. But DONT TOUCH THE DEFENSE.

We as a team had to pick up the 5th yr. With no 5th year, if he had played good … then a new contract would have cost a lot of money. With the 5th yr, if he had played good …. We would have saved on the cap. so basically we were in a bad place, and had to play the cap game but with hindsight, we see that he was terrible. So I don’t put that on Fitter

Don’t shot the messenger, but I think I have come up with a coach for us. Yes, he is a college coach. Former NFL coach that was in a bad situation with a quick decision owner. This morning all the pre-game shows were talking the bad roughing the passer calls on Brady and Carr. If Brady takes the hit that PJ got, very ref on the field would throw the flag. plus it was helmet to helmet. That’s why everyone is calling out the refs. They need to call it straight down the line. If your star QB gets flags for someone touching them … even a 4th depth chart QB should get the same calls. One of the morning shows, one of the guys said refs used to call after the game and apologize for missing calls, that doesn’t happen anymore. if the referees that FOX hired to report what they see, says that’s a bad call on national tv …. THAT WAS A TERRIBLE CALL
