  1. I agree. Not that Young is trash, he's a rookie whose struggling. He isn't the first and he won't be the last. Some of these guys act like it's asinine to say that the rookie is struggling. Oh it's the receivers, oh it's the line. I've seen alot of Panthers football this Oline is one of the more talented groups we have, yes there is some injuries, but Byrce hasn't been under any abnormal about of pressure. He's been hesitant to go with with his reads, and holding the ball too long. Now some are saying it's because the receivers are not open. Well Sunday if Dalton starts we will see if the receivers are as bad as its being made out to be. Nobody who calls themselves a fan wants Bryce to fail, we gave up way too much, but if he's not ready, maybe he needs to sit and watch ala Mahomes and other Qbs have done.
  2. Winning franchises would pay a premier pass rusher before a receiver any day of the week. It's teams like the Panthers that would do foolishness like that in reverse. Stroud threw for 384 yards and his leading receiver was a rookie receiver taken a round later than we took Mingo. The Rams have a rookie named Puka Nacua leading the league in receptions. Good coordinators can scheme people open.
  3. Will Chicago atleast pay for our Uber back home?
  4. Why is Chubbard in the game running routes if he not viable option. A clear first down if Byrce get the ball out to the back. I have no idea what you mean by reliant, you get the ball to the open guy who is able to advance it, that's how efficient offenses work.
  5. I think Hubbard's improved in that area. But for whatever reason the Saints were leaving the flats open all game. The drive that we emphasized the flats is the drive we scored on. He seems to be struggling to get the ball in the tight windows, make the defense account for the whole field and there will be holes in the zone. Brady made a killing with this.
  6. There are plays to be made out there, everybody is not covered. He needs to get the backs more involved in the passing game. Go back at look at the last scoring drive his top receiver was Hubbard. The play below resulted in an incompletion. The Saints defense didn't even bother defending Hubbard.
  7. Trade McCaffrey Trade Moore Trade Burns While they are all in their prime Now that's the ticket to winning.
  8. I think Byrce needs to get the runningbacks involved more in the passing game. Watching the film I saw several instances where Sanders and even Shenault were open in the flats and Byrce didn't look their way. If you're going to be checkdown Charlie you have to be efficient with the check downs, Brady made a killing checking down to his Rbs in the flats. Make the defense defend the whole field and you will open things up in the middle. The last drive that we scored was essentially him checking down to Hubbard in the flats and moving the sticks, the announcers claim Saints were in prevent, but based on the tape that play was open all game. Here Hubbard had nothing but daylight in front of him if Bryce looks his way, the play resulted in a incompletion instead.
  9. Just watched the full clip. Brown was informing Micheal Thomas which direction his locker room was located. Micheal Thomas started singing the name of some gang, maybe in attempt to scare or mock DB; looks like it just agitated him more lol. Thomas then appeared scurry to wherever he was going in a hurry. https://x.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1704218966019711310?s=20
  10. No the offense has gotten worse since we cut Bridgewater. He was the best Qb we've had since a prime Cam Newton. But butt hurt fans wanted to rag him about dink and dunk. Now they've seen what real dink and dunk looks like from Donald to the young Byrce (hopefully he gets better) Brady was here in 2021 and got fired as mentioned because the offense was stagnant. So if you going to give credit, give it to who really deserved it.
  11. Somebody posted a chart of our receivers targets and catches and Mingo was targeted the most with 8 but they only connected on 3 of them.
  12. Stop, DB is a country boy he don't know anything about California gang culture. Lol
  13. 2022: Moore, Marshall Jr, Shenault, Smith 2023: Chark, Theilen, Mingo, Shenault, Marshall Jr. Moore is good but there is no way the receiving core from last season was better if Marshall who can't even get on the field now was our #2.
  14. I didn't see anything with the Saints to write home about. They got old man Cameron Jordan they don't have an elite pass rush. They are really good on the 2nd and 3rd level with linebackers and secondary. What you saw was Dennis Allen do a masterful job of confusing our rookie Qb, showing man to man fronts but really zone defense. They are good but they played two bad offenses so far.
  15. When I heard that CJ Stroud quote about him bring a football player and not a test taker. I said uh oh Panthers might be making a mistake, this kid got some dawg in him. If GPA and IQ won football games Harvard and Yale would dominate Ohio State and Alabama.
  16. Cam rookie season he threw for over 400 yards against Green Bay and we got our butt kicked. But the NFL was on notice this wasn't the Jimmy Pickles Panthers anymore.
  17. Alot of it has to do with Reich's playcalling, he kept trying to play in front of the sticks, I guess he doesnt fully trust Young. The announcers kept mentioning now would be a time to take a shot, and he kept calling safe screen passes and runs up the middle that netted no yards. So the end result we were behind the sticks anyway.
  18. I agree if you going to go down, go down swinging like the Colts did with Manning. Like we did with Newton. This timidness is what produces Sam Donald's of the NFL not perennial probowlers
  19. He's been better are on par with Beason who was highly overrated by this fan base.
  20. It's bogus. We finished with a better record than Saints and Falcons last season. The division came down to us and Tampa. We leap frogged the Falcons and Saints to get the #1 overall draft pick, players of that caliper are meant to be franchise changing Cam Newton, Julius Peppers good. Not saying Byrce can't become that but how did we become worse and in rebuilding mode, but the Saints and Falcons with less draft capital seemingly got better in one off-season. I don't want to hear anything about coaching continuity should have kept Wilks then.
  21. Hill was making plays all over the field, once he came in, just like he was doing in preseason. Even sacked Carr on a crucial 3rd and 2 play.
  22. This is what's concerning to me, he's going to have to be the reincarnate of Drew Brees for this to work. Kyle Murray is small but you better not let him hit that corner or he's gone. He's going to need to be able to dictate to defenses presnap to make up for his physical limitations and right now the defenses are dictating to him.
  23. Luvu exist and many others on the defensive side of the ball.
