  1. Only 56. Traded the 57th for Mason Plumlee and the 37th pick.
  2. Said proposed to Hornets on ESPN.
  3. Yeah his YAC and breaking tackles abilities were very well known coming out of college, would’ve been disappointing if they didn’t translate to the NFL. Not only have they translated well, but he’s leading in those numbers...pay the man.
  4. If it doesn’t work out with @SBBlue, i’ll be interested.
  5. Jesus christ...idc who gets the shot or not, whatever you do just stfu and respectfully let everyone else make their own decisions.
  6. I always thought we made the best move, was shocked to see the amount of hate given when the sign and trade for Terry happened. I guess the hate was more towards the amount we gave Terry rather than Kemba leaving. But there were very few people here who did think we came out on the best side of the situation, including myself. Outside of this, basically everyone in the national media was trashing us.
  7. Excluding the Steelers and Cowboys since they play 4 preseason games, the Panthers and Colts are the only teams who have 3 games in a span of just 12 days. The rest of the league is at least 13 days (Chiefs, Jets and Vikings are the only ones with 13 days, majority of the league is 14-17 days)
  8. Yup, extremely smart from them. Im just talking about for the people who think bigger cap space means that we’ll be able to sign our pending free agents and still have a lot to spend on others in free agency.
  9. This changes nothing. Players are gonna end up asking for more, and still take up the same amount of percentage of the cap. Just expect a bunch of players “resetting” the market.
  10. Premiering this Thursday, May 27. A behind the scenes look into the off-season moves from the Fitterer hire, the Darnold trade, and the draft. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-confidential-presented-by-coca-cola-to-debut-on-thursday Excited for this.
  11. If our line is average, that stat line is definitely the floor. Can't wait for the season.
  12. What about the bubble butt boys.
  13. Would be nice if he turned out like Greg Hardy, just talent wise/draft value of course. Also, it mentioned we did not address the position further in free agency or in the draft...didn’t we sign DeQuan Jones and draft another DT with our last pick?
  14. Matt Amendola beats out Joey Slye and proceeds to kick the game winning FG in superbowl 56.
  15. I wouldn’t mind taking another WR with our next pick, but one who plays in the slot. Someone like Amonra St. Brown or Marquez Stevenson. But whatever happens, based on the draft so far and how well it’s going imo, I trust the staff to make the perfect decision.
  16. Let me give myself a little bit of credit here... I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS PICK!
  17. He could, but it’s a pass for me, don’t want to spend a draft pick on a player that would bring a bunch of negative media attention after that sickening act. As an undrafted free agent, maybe.
  18. Tommy Tremble, TE out of Notre Dame. He's a very unselfish player, best blocking TE in the draft who has lined up at FB at times. He has very nice hands and is definitely a pretty good athlete as well. He did not produce much for Notre Dame in his 2 years there and that's mostly because of being behind guys like Cole Kmet who has 43rd overall last year and this year being behind the STUD freshman TE, Michael Mayer. The potential is definitely there for Tommy, the blocking is already set in place, he has the measurables, athletic, and nice hands...he just now needs to produce. Him being an unselfish player, he will be patient enough and put in the work that he needs to put in, in order to develop and reach his potential. I would definitely love it if we selected him in the third round, I don't think there's any way he lasts until day 3 of the draft. It would not surprise me one bit if he becomes a George Kittle type of player by his 2nd year.
  19. As I mentioned in another thread... My ideal scenario for the first 2 rounds would be to select Slater and another offensive lineman in the second round who can play both T and G positions (Jenkins/Leatherwood), just like Slater. Let both battle it out for the LT spot and the loser plays inside. I would also be happy with a trade down if it’s with the Eagles or Cowboys. I seen talks this morning that the Eagles are trying to trade up to secure Patrick Surtain, having to leapfrog Denver and Dallas (Giants are ahead of them but they’re not a threat to pick a CB). If this rumor is true, and the Cowboys also really want Surtain, Dallas might get in a bid against Philly to trade up with us. If we trade with Dallas, pretty good chance we still are able to get Slater. Trading down with Philly i’d say is 50/50 that Slater is still there, but Christian Darrisaw would definitely be available. Man...tonight is going to be fun to watch.
  20. Well, i’ll just go ahead and name then, look away if you’re still trying to figure it on your own... 1. Hunter Cantwell (to be fair, he was picked up as a UDFA) 2. Tony Pike. One of the 3 QBs we picked in that draft. Other 2 being Jimmy and Armanti Edwards.
  21. A QB (not named Mac Jones) or OT at #8 and i’ll be happy. My ideal scenario for the first 2 rounds would be to select Slater and another offensive lineman in the second round who can play both T and G positions (Jenkins/Leatherwood), just like Slater. Let both battle it out for the LT spot and the loser plays inside.
  22. FUG YEAH. FINALLY. Being able to get something back for Teddy, I instantly give the staff a W for the offseason.
