  1. https://www.bettingpros.com/nfl/odds/player-futures/defensive-player-of-year/ You have to scroll down a lot to find Burns, but I still see some at +12500 -- MGM and "partycasino" I'm not much of a gambler so no idea about this site's accuracy but seems legit and updated recently.
  2. Rookie numbers, no wonder Snow beat him
  3. May drop $100 on it, those odds are completely absurd.
  4. He was carted off the field last week during practice, so the latter.
  5. I still can't believe how someone with his size could play so damn small.
  6. Who's gonna start the thread about all the Pats reporters saying that Mac Jones has won the starting job? Cam lost his starting job to a scrub rookie partly because he wasn't vaccinated and had to miss a chunk of camp due to covid protocols...
  7. Damn this should've been in the main forum, woulda been an all time Huddle great, maybe even up there with the pink flaps dude. Drunk post or not I hope you follow through with this and succeed, sounds cool.
  8. DJ's contract won't really overlap with Anderson's either, he's already locked in for cheap the next 2 years then we can easily structure the contract so the hit in Anderson's last year will be low. Regarding the rookies, yes they look extremely promising, but to expect that either will be good enough to lock down the #2 role as soon as next year is wishful thinking. Robby is a phenomenal #2 WR behind DJ through the duration of this contract and it gives time for these rooks to prove themselves and develop and also gives us pretty insane WR depth if the rooks do develop. We complained for years about not having good WRs, now we have too many good WRs?
  9. We'll see. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the Rams don't win a SB this year and then by 2022 we are consistently better than them (depending a bit on our QB situation). A lot of the moves they've made over the years have been recipe for disaster down the line if they don't win a SB very damn soon.
  10. His loss then. With him and this defense core and weapons we would probably be a playoff team as soon as this year. Then aggressively fix the OL after this season and we're really not far from competing.
  11. I thought he was at $10M this year, not $8M? Very happy we're putting some of the extension on this year's cap. Great contract.
  12. Also probably some incentives baked in there, the initial number reported is always higher than the real number. Wouldn't be surprised if his cap hits are closer to $12-13M/year (on average, I'm sure the structure will be different).
  13. Yeah and it is extremely easy on a DJ extension to have his cap hit in 2023 be very low. This deal actually makes it more likely we keep DJ than if we had extended Robby for longer.
  14. The Steelers are also an INSANE outlier when it comes to WR development/scouting. They literally always have filthy young receivers on rookie deals that they drafted and developed.
  15. Interesting that it's that short... A lot of money but looking at some other WR contracts I'm cool with it. DJ likely to get a long term deal while Marshall will stick on his rookie deal and then Robby would be coming off the books right when he needs an extension. Some WRs making more than Robby got on this deal (and of course this year is even more of a steal): Jarvis Landry, Cooper Kupp, Chris Godwin, Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, Tyler Lockett I don't think any of those guys are notably better than Robby to be honest, and they got their contracts when the cap was lower. Very solid contract.
  16. Preseason is a fugazi. Lawrence will easily be the best rookie QB this year.
  17. @PntherPryd ran it when I did it years ago
  18. I may be wrong but I think you can do it through Yahoo in a way where everyone pays in through to Yahoo and at the end of the season the winnings are distributed by them automatically.
  19. Yeah there was a FF league here, not sure if it has still been running. I only played 1 year and won that year -- I think it was one of those years where OBJ or Josh Gordon or Alshon Jeffery (or multiple of them) just went absolutely bonkers to win it for me, so that was a while ago now. It was fun that year and would be cool if it gets up and running again.
  20. Nobody thought that Aints game was an "easy dub" even with their top 3 wideouts not playing, and anyone who did is an idiot. Last year's Aints team with Brees overall was still better than our team last year even without their top 3 WRs. We really haven't had any letdowns from a Rhule team yet.
  21. With our weapons and the Jets' trash D even with our potential OL struggles Darnold better fuging go off for 300+ yards and 3+ TDs in week 1.
  22. I am not at all sold on PJ over Grier. Neither is a good option even as a #2.
