This draft is looking like one of our best. Marshall with almost 100 yds, Hubbard with a big time run, Tremble with the TD. Christensen has been good and Nixon is plugging up the middle. The talent is there and when combined with last years, we have made significant upgrades. These last two drafts look like the kind the Cowboys put together in becoming Champions with Aikman, Irvin, Smith, etc. Yes we need depth and who knows what we are getting out of Darnold, but I like what I see so far. Both teams are playing backups, but Indy was a playoff team.

Until people in rural America can get Broadband services, satellite television will have a prominent place. Between Directv and Dish, close to 25 million people use it. AT&T just sold a 30% stake in directv. Most think it is the precursor to selling the satellite service to Dish, at which point AT&T will have nothing to do with satellite TV and will heavily push AT&TV and HBOmax, their streaming services. In any event, the NFL Sunday ticket will be available on another platform soon.

I love this draft but the trading back and forth drove me crazy. What is truly great is all of the trading upgraded our team and replaced everything we traded for Darnold but the 2nd rounder next year. Would not surprise me if we get that back as well. Filled a lot of holes and showed up depth. Areas we need to work on are FS, LB and more depth.

I see 2 or 3 guys who will make the team. Solid work at UDFA compared to the usual list under Hurney and Gettleman where I had to do a 30 minute search to find out who they are. We got younger, more athletic and more physical over the past three days. If Darnold can be properly coached, we are close to being in the playoffs this year.

The only question after a draft is did the team better. Yes. Is the depth better. Yes. Did you get guys who will start this year and will back up guys play a lot. Yes. I like most of what we did. We are better at CB, OL, RB and are at least as good at DT and WR. This was an excellent draft. Some can't see the forest for the trees. When Tremble is destroying guys on the edge and in the hole so that McCaffrey scores, I couldn't care less how many catches he has. Brady's offense isn't about a pass catching TE.

Gettleman is a POS as a GM and talent evaluator. NYG are now feeling the full weight of suck. Glad its not us

He is off the scale in the metrics. 6'8" 320 and can play both Tackle positions. Has played against Ohio State's Young and Iowa's Espinoza and had good games. This looks like a Rhule guy.

Trey Smith and Jabril Cox are high on that scale and are positions we need. I'd love Smith if they are fine with his medicals.

If we want a sleeper qb from Stanford, look a KJ Costello. Graduated at Stanford, transferred to Mississippi State, set an SEC record for passing yards vs LSU and then disappeared after a couple of bad showings. A lot of that was on the new Air Raid offense being installed and lack of offensive help. Great arm, but questionable instincts. Will be there in the 6th when you are taking a flyer on guys anyway. Best part is it requires no draft capital to be given away.

If we go S in the second, then barring a trade back into the second, I'd like to concentrate rounds 3 through 5 on IOL and a WR. We can absolutely strengthen the interior while still needing help at LT. Sadly, we just can plug every hole with this draft.
