Well said. Also note, we were not expected to be as good as we were during either of the SB runs we made. I don't think that happens this year, but you usually do not see it coming.

He led a nice FG drive. His ball placement was impressive. He was getting a little more time from his line so that obviously helps.

CJ Stroud is looking pretty good today. Will Anderson also just had a nice play.

It is all a guessing game at this point, but I foresee some struggles early and a run late in the season. I predict we will all be excited for the future at season's end. Whether that means we did enough to make the playoffs or not, I don't know. There are too many variables right now, but I think there is a legitimate reason for optimism with this team.

And, we looked good against the Jets in the head to head practice BTW. People basically take 1 quarter of the first preseason game and decide we need to fire Reich. I’m exaggerating, but not by much.

This team doesn’t have to make the playoffs in year 1, but I’d be willing to bet my paycheck that everyone will be firmly on the bandwagon by season’s end.

Bryce impressed by getting up quickly after being hit hard at least 3 times. Defense wasnt horrible early on (bend dont break), especially considering our best pass rushers were not playing. -
