  1. Not sure, but I remember being very excited about Ron Rivera and the staff he assembled. We all knew Rivera would be a players coach and the defense would be good under him and McDermott. Chud was a very intriguing OC hire at the time and Shula as QBs coach as well. I remember being super excited to see the Coryell on offense and what blitz packages McDermott would cook up on D. That first year with Cam setting all those rookie records and getting Olsen and Shockey along with still having legends like Steve Smith, Ryan Kalil, Jordan Gross, double trouble, big money, Thomas Davis, etc. So much optimism and excitement. It felt like we were not only moving away from Foxball into the modern offensive era of football, but possibly even defining a new modern era of football.
  2. Somebody just wasted a lot of time on that. It would have been much more helpful if they had used a single source for the mocks to compare how they performed over the years, then you could at least draw some sort of conclusion like maybe this one source tends to mock QBs a little high or low on average. As it stands, there’s just nothing you can conclude outside of the obvious that sometimes mocks are right and sometimes they’re wrong.
  3. Not to mention fired after working the bye week while Matt Rhule took a vacation. Matt Rhule can suck a whole bag of dicks. I wish him nothing but abject failure in his future coaching endeavors.
  4. For sure. He’s one of Steve Smiths many sons.
  5. Every year is different. This does not seem like a QB is gonna fall type year.
  6. Can’t blame him for wanting to work for the same organization his father played for. Almost brings a tear to your eye.
  7. He must not have talked to any scouts, coaches, or execs from the Bears lol.
  8. Are we talking about trading into the first round for a RB? I’d jump on the fire Fitterer bandwagon so fast it would make your head spin.
  9. We nearly went undefeated and had a really hard offense to stop with Cam Newton and Mike Shula. Imagine somebody hiring Mike Shula to HC after that thinking they were getting some wunderkind. Not saying Steichen and Shula are the same, just something to think about. I saw a lot of great plays made by Eagles players last night, I didn’t necessarily see them outscheme the Chiefs. I have the same problem with Hurts, and Olsen pointed it out a little. He chucked up a couple bombs that were basically just betting that AJ Brown would play the ball better than the coverage. One was a TD, one was nearly a pick. I saw several plays where both Hurts and the play design were bailed out by Goedert or a WR making spectacular grabs in coverage.
  10. I assume you mean in the sense of who would you rather build a team around as opposed to who is better right now, otherwise undrafted QBs would have to be last. I’d go: Allen Burrow Herbert Lawrence Hurts Stroud Young Jackson Tua
  11. Wow that’s like 7 incidents from a decade plus career and nothing that even comes close to the theatrics of Lebron rolling around on the ground slamming his fists. Sorry, still don’t think MJ was “whiny”.
  12. I’m old enough that I actually watched MJ and remember it, and I don’t remember him being whiny. My memory could have some holes you’re right about that, but I don’t recall ever seeing him as whiny. And I don’t mean just asking for calls, Lebron and Brady throw literal temper tantrums.
  13. Or say he didn’t want to win because he threw a duck on the last play of the game.
  14. This game has gotten good was getting sick of watching those Eagles drives.
  15. Eagles got some stickem on their gloves.
  16. I’m sorry but if that’s ruled an incompletion it’s just a shitty rule.
  17. Dude bro about bit it just trying to get into his td dance. How is the field this shitty on your premier event for the year.
  18. That ankle ain’t looking good and that field looks like poo too.
