  1. It should be reason #1 why the entire front office should be gone a week from Monday. Don’t see any reason it would shield anyone from being fired.
  2. He hasn’t given him anything yet. Firing him now would just make it worse the next two weeks.
  3. You just had the team mouthpiece state how embarrassed Tepper is. He has lost the team. The fan base will not react well to him being here next year. I don’t see how anyone can justify him being in charge for another year.
  4. He’s sure not giving 7M to take a chance on him when they have to pay Hill 12M next year already.
  5. He’s made plenty of statements to deflect criticism. There’s a reason Andrew Berry wouldn’t interview for the GM job a week after Rhule got hired. And no one else was interviewed after that. It’s also why it took so long to find one who would accept those terms this time. Last year, it was Hurney who made every bad move. We now see how that wasn’t true at all. Honestly, Rhule Fitterer and Samir are the first 3 out the door.
  6. 51 % is the same as 100% in this situation.
  7. Ozzie would have to say no to an awful lot of money if I’m Tepper.
  8. So he has never been responsible for anything in his NFL career. But he’s ready to pick a HC. Let’s say Dan Morgan was just named GM in JAX. Hypothetically. Does anyone still want Fitterer, or is this an infatuation with a former player?
  9. So best case, he signed up to be a yes man that knew he would be judged by Rhule’s final word. Or he had a say in all the failed moves this off-season? Either way, what makes anyone think a rookie GM should choose the next HC? One with a questionable one season at that. Y’all need to “tent” the building and get rid of all the problems.
  10. This thread aged well. Comical watching people make up numbers needed to justify this mistake.
  11. I criticize the entire league. He had played two All-SEC seasons since it happened. Every team could afford the best medical care he’s ever gotten. No reason to see the 6th round. But, if you’re a team taking walking clogged artery and a long snapper close to his pick, it’s a little worse.
  12. They let Miller sit out there in FA for weeks. And a 27yo RG who has started 72 games in 6 years couldn’t get an offer. So he had to take a league minimum, NON -guaranteed contract to play here. If they signed him to be a backup, that’s fine. But they put him right back in as starter. Listen to what the rest of the NFL was trying to tell you.
  13. It’s bad when your supposed to be around 7th.
  14. Give him 15M and hope another team thinks that’s a good enough price to trade something of value for him? Not smart. He will barely get 10M/yr.
  15. One of the greatest coaches of all-time. Who somehow outshined that by being an iconic announcer and helping launch a revolutionary football game. Prayers to his family.
  16. That’s because they did their “rebuild” right. Not use the word to cover up incompetent personnel moves.
  17. I don’t ruin good milk by putting any kind of cereal in it. Not since I was 10.
  18. 1. These are professionals. For 20M people would let someone fart in their cornflakes every day. 2. Being lectured about from a hypocrite who used Sam to get his extension and cussed him out during a game is ridiculous. I’m not a fan and I still thought he was way out of line.
  19. I’m assuming this is a “do as I say and not as I do” situation. He cussed him out on the field but that’s ok? That’s the only “fake” part in this.
  20. Rhule claims that the hit rate on 1st round QBs is not good. How about the hit rate on 1st rounders becoming something they never were before, on another team, in the rookie cap era? How did the compare analytically?
  21. And this is coming from a player who Rhule gave 9.5M for ONE year of awful S play.
