A thorough ass kicking tonight via an LAFC team that was without two of their best players (Bale and Chiellini). The wheels have fallen off and you can start to see it in the way the team plays and addresses one another on the pitch. To make matters worse, Charlotte FC travels to NYCFC next weekend in what could be another ass whooping.

The sad thing is LAFC did this without Chiellini and Bale. Team has just fallen a part since the Toronto game.

A lot of that is the QB’s actually adjusting to the defense. Mayfield has this to say following the game about the McAdoo and the offense: “Night and day different, that's for sure. A lot more comfortable now. [Offensive coordinator] Coach [Ben] McAdoo is going to give us the keys to change things on the field, and his saying is, if he can't trust us, he can't trust himself.” “Not really like anything I've been in before. It's a great offense, it allows us to make checks at the line and just have answers for whatever the defense is throwing at us. It's a lot to learn at first, but once you get it down and you start to master it, you can get the offense in a great position to have success. That's the benefit of having a complicated offense like this.”

Pickett can play a bit, at least against third and fourth stringers. 13/15, 95 yards, 2 TD’s 3 rushes - 16 yards

I don’t think he has either but I think this year he’s built to have immediate success as a guard while he learns how to deal with edge rushers who have elite speed. Don’t think it will happen but that’s okay. As long as Elflein and Jordan aren’t trotted out as starters on day one I’ll be happy.
