  1. Well hopefully the lesson is learned and Canales fixes thus dumpster fire.
  2. Zach wilson for me, fields may have found his landing spot.
  3. Everyone laughed at the packer and falcons for picking QBs while having good starters, but I feel like they are gonna get the last laugh.
  4. Bring in a Vet to be the starter draft a QB and let him sit a year and develop.
  5. Average arm does not go with Quinn Ewers, dude has a cannon.
  6. Ewers and Cam Ward are the only QBs worth looking at this year. I would be happy with either. Though I would personally go with Ewers if he is there.
  7. Additionally, if we get away from Young and go to Dalton, the chances that we get the 1st pick goes down, because we know even though he is bad, he is at least capable of leading an offense.
  8. To get Manning we will have to land the 1st overall pick in 2026 or beyond. Statistically, this year we are on track, but historically the chances to land the overall number 1 pick is very low. 3 NFL teams, much older than us, have never picked first overall. The Browns, who had a 20 year of suckage, have only picked first overall 5 times, in their history. The Green Bay Packers, who have existed for over 100 years, 2 times. It's low probability to get the 1st pick, even if you are the worst team in the NFL. Look at the Texans and the Jets just a few years ago.
  9. There might no longer be a fan base if we have to wait till 2030.
  10. Who cares, Lamaleava will, Ewers will, 99% of other draftable qbs will. Besides, the chances we land the 1st pick again is statistically miniscual.
  11. Honestly, it's not that dier. A good QB hides a lot of issues. The Texans were looked at as having the worse roster ever, got Stroud, good again. The bears are stacked, but Caleb playing poorly. Suddenly they are lacking talent. All comes back to one player.
  12. I mean the truth is, the number 1 pick rarely gets traded. So I doubt it will happen for us. Might as well just take the best player or QB available.
  13. I dunno man, he is notorious for hanging on to the ball too long and taking sacks to save his completion percentage.
  14. If we are picking anywhere in the top 3 next year, he will not be.
  15. True, but a six year contract, Canales will attest get a year with his own guy. A blind man could see what the real problem holding this team back is.
  16. I think Canales will want his own guy, new regime typically means new QB. So I forsee one if we are anywhere in the top 5.
  17. I'm past this and pull for Stroud cause I like him. I've now set my eyes on 2025. We will have a new chance to get it right. Hopefully we do.
  18. Also, this last thing this team needs to is panic. Act like professionals, create a plan now, and follow it for 2025. You know Young isn't it, it's time to rebuilt from the bottom up. Don't screw up with needless trades and bad signing.
  19. This is the way, if you want 3 more years of losing.
  20. there is almost always that 1 fluke game.
  21. Probably already working behind the scenes with a New York team. lol
  22. Well, the Jets drafted a qb a number 3, and then 3 years later a Qb at 2. Maybe the closest I've seen.
  23. The truth is, the offense is set up quite well for a young QB now. The O-line is playing well, despite Young's play. The receivers are getting open, wide open, and we have a good running back stable. Take the QB, and continue to build around him in 2025. 2026 is all about defense.
  24. Name recognition is not there.
  25. Yes, he has struggled with injury, but none of them have been season ending, most have been unfortunate injuries. - First one a DT landed on his throwing shoulder - Second shoulder injury on his non throwing shoulder - out 2 games - Abdominal strain - tbd on how long he's out. So, I'm not super concerned about that just yet.
