  1. My brother is a huge steelers fan, so we got tickets to this game. We we're laughing this week because the the only competition is who will suck worse. I think with last night's move we win that contest hands down.
  2. FWIW, per the official depth chart, Shi is listed above all of them: Position 1st 2nd 3rd LWR - DJ Moore Rashard Higgins Laviska Shenault Jr. RWR - Shi Smith Terrace Marshall Jr.
  3. Adding a vet TE through FA would be best case scenario for a rookie QB. Even if that "rookie" is Corral. BTW, I'm not lobbying for NOT drafting a QB.
  4. I agree on CMC. No need to run the crap out of him on a losing season. I also agree with TMJ and Smith, lets see what they got. On the other hand, I see no real rush to test Mays. Corbett's contract all but guarantees he's our RG next season and Mays is on a cheapy cheap contract. There was camp talk about him at center, but no need to fug with an o-line that is finally playing well together by trying to force him into a new position.
  5. I will admit that RA has a point. He can't throw the ball to himself or call the plays. He has (excuse me HAD) reason to be pissed. This in no way lets him off the hook for acting like a little bitch on national TV, which is all Stew said.
  6. I think he's an extension waiting to happen. He's played well and has steadily improved, IMO. At 28, I could see him signing a 3 year extension to keep him around through 2026 and clear up some cap space next year.
  7. So basically, we traded Robbie for Shenault, a 2025 7th, and $690K. I'll take that deal all day long!
  8. Which we'd have been on the hook for anyway when we cut him after the season to save the $12M not-guaranteed. At least this way we get a little something back for him. I'm stoked.
  9. Not official, but... Anderson was traded for a 2024 sixth round draft pick and a 2025 seventh round draft pick, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
  10. TMJ seems to be good at dropping passes.
  11. I would not have. I also had to look up who Cooper Rush was. Mariotta and Jones are solid, back-up caliber QB's. They're all taking advantage of their current situation and winning games. Meanwhile... we grabbed up Darnold and Mayfield who have completely stunk up the field. I admit that even though I was dead against Darnold, I felt Mayfield was a victim of circumstance becuse he played for the frikkin Browns. Boy was I wrong.
  12. I, for one, was shocked at how bad we've become. I honestly thought Sam Darnold was rock bottom.
  13. Considering Darnold, Mayfield and Walker shouldn't be anywhere near Charlotte next season, why not let him play? Sam could be back soon, but WTH not see if Eason can be a serviceable backup until that happens?
  14. Smart coaching helps...a lot. But I'm not sure even Sean Payton could accomplish much with PJ Walker as his QB. At least these QB's are NFL caliber backups. PJ just isn't. He's only here due to multiple injuries. If we had cut him like planned (I assume), no one else was waiting in the wings to snatch him up.
  15. That tells me that you're a slow learner.
  16. I hate the concept of tanking. Loosing on purpose is some cowardly BS. That being said...the easy part of our season is over, our secondary is banged up, and our starting QB is the guy everyone assumed was a camp body before the 3 people ahead of him got broken. We may not have to tank ON PURPOSE, it may just happen organically.
  17. What Has Gone Wrong? Let's get all of this out of the way before we continue. The Panthers rank 32nd in the NFL in time of possession (25:23); They rank 32nd in the NFL in first downs per game (14.8); They rank 32nd in the NFL in third-down conversions (24.2%); They rank 31st in the NFL in passing yards per play (5.71); Baker Mayfield ranks 32nd in the NFL in completion percentage (54.9%). HOLY POO!
