I agree with you, BUT it's kinda weird to expect it on day 1 of camp. We need him to stay hungry and bust his ass to beat out those 2, not get it handed to him automatically. FWIW, I don't think Mayfield sucks, he has just lacked consistently IMO. But I'm all in on Corral being the QB of the future.

Play offs and pro bowl. Still vague, but according to CBS: The Panthers also created an incentives package that would give Mayfield a chance to earn back his $3.5 million pay cut. The incentives reportedly include making the postseason, winning a certain amount of games and statistics.

I think our offense as a whole has been making small-but-significant steps to the good. Mayfield is better than Darnold (I like Coral a lot too, but will leave that to other threads), RB room is better, coaches are better, O-line is A LOT better. Tepper seems to be really invested in Rhule, and is giving him every opportunity to succeed. I just wish there wasn't so much on the job training.
