  1. This. I was assuming that the OP meant as a back up that had more potential that PJ.
  2. Wait, I thought he was co-managing the WFT now?
  3. Glad we FINALLY decided to practice those 2 things since we never did last season!
  4. It is such a novel concept that our cut WR's are likely to get picked up by other teams. AND A GOOD THING!
  5. Monteiro knows he was caught on film getting smoked by Burns and wants an advantage.
  6. Screw that! I'm all for wrapping them in bubble wrap until they're unleashed on another team. Who the hell wants to get hurt in practice?
  7. You can scratch Aaron Monteiro off the list vying for LT starter.
  8. Nixon has been getting a lot of praise, and will likely be a rotational piece sooner rather than later. He may not be a "starter", but he'll have a set # of snaps that he lets Brown and Jones catch their breaths. I have not heard much about Shi, would love some news on him.
  9. OK, PFF is no longer a bunch of mind numbing dambasses... until the next thing they say.
  10. every DB in the league has eaten KB's lunch the last several seasons!
  11. I think Horn, Marshall, and Tremble are already showing themselves to be starters, or at least players who will have situational roles in the case of the latter 2. BC starting, and playing well, anywhere on the line is certainly a win, and would make four!
  12. I think that he's starting somewhere (LG is my belief, RT or LT is my hope) by the week 7 bye. If I weren't broke AF, I'd put money on it.
  13. We only save $502K if we cut him. Might as well let it play out with him as depth. FWIW, Arnold is on the books for 2022 as well, so it would be a clean break after this season. EDIT: I am reading this correctly, right?
  14. He warned us not to watch, SMH.
  15. I feel for Kirkwood. Here's a big bodied WR with Brady and Rhule connections, who has been injured twice in camp. He was on he fringe to begin with, and this could be it for his career.
  16. To be fair, Robby is a lot harder to cover than Hyman. #11 pushes him off and comes back for an easy catch if not held.
  17. Matt Rhule, walking to practice: “I want it to rain. What better thing in the world than to play football in the rain? Of course, I don’t have to play.” I love my coach.
  18. Burris might not be great, but I'm not sure I like the idea of rolling with what's behind him. Won't claim to have looked, but from what I understand his contract isn't all that expensive. FYI:
