  1. THAT'S the trade! DJ for Shemar even-steven. I'll guarantee his full rookie contract, then let him vie for a backup role. He can only poison the locker room so much from the bench. If he becomes a beast...we win big. Not that they would agree to this, but it's about what I'm willing to give up for a cancerous turd.
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't want to go into the season with 3 rookies and Jones, who hasn't ever been a "starter" before. Getting rid of DJ is deal breaker for me.
  3. I see us winning 9-10 games, which very well be enough to clench the division. My bolder prediction is that our offense finishes top 10. There, I said it! This is based on Bryce's growth on the back half of last season and that every other group on offense has improved, except o-line which was pretty damned good to start with. Obviously, where Bryce goes...so goes our O. I also predict that our defense will NOT be bottom 10. That is a big step coming from the bottom of the barrel! DB is back, Wharton and BB3 are legit, mid-tier starters, and we brought in 3 upgrades at OLB. Safety was upgraded and CB basically stayed the same.
  4. "I think it just talks about our team," Thielen replied. "We're a bunch of guys that want it, and I think guys are finally sick of being the same old, same old Carolina Panthers. I think we wanna get back to what they did here in the past—2015 and some of those other years when they had deep playoff runs and had the crowd involved and the city hyped up. We haven't had that. And I think that just shows that guys are kinda sick and tired of the same old, same old. And everything that this organization has done this offseason has pushed us towards that."
  5. Boy Howdy, I bet QBs / WRs love no pads days!
  6. If that doesn't get you riled up, nothing will! With some of those hits and the hair, kinda reminds me of Troy Polamalu, not saying that he has the same talent, obviously.
  7. I hear you, buuuut.... Rozenboom is 28 (1 year deal) and Jewell is 30.
  8. I was going to post something very similar, BUT I expect our front 7 on D to make a jump similar to the one our o-line made last year. 1. Brown is back after missing all of last year. In 2023 he was 1 of the best at his position. 2. Wharton and BB3 are solid players who are NFL caliber starters. 3. Jones is very good pick up; 26 yo and coming off a 7 sack season. Add to that we spent 2 high draft picks on Scourton & Umanmielen. Unproven in the NFL, but the our staff felt good enough about them to cut Clowney who was our best OLB last year (sadly).
  9. @GloTheofficial sitting on a hidden gem and she ain't even drop it yet...I guess I'll look forward to this for the summer since..... SOMEONE AINT DROPPING....this heat tho, need #keyshiacole as a ft ! Maybe she just called up XL because he's an expert on dropping things?!?
  10. He is not a superstar anymore (if he ever was is a matter of opinion), BUT he is constantly open and catches anything that gets near him!! Definitely still above average even at his age. My only complaint was with the term "washed up". Who the Hell knows what we are getting with Renfrow at this point, and Moore is a career-long average guy who admittedly played pretty danged good down the stretch last year. All 3 of these guys will be 30 this year, and only AT has put up good numbers in recent years. The other 2 are bubble guys IMO.
  11. Making him DTR would keep him safe from PS poachers for the first part of the season, right? That makes our WR corps: AT, XL, JC, TMac, (locks) and Renfrow & Moore (probably) and open George and Hudson for competition for a potential WR6/WR7 spot.
  12. Dowdle was a good pickup, and is trying to earn a big contract so he'll play with a chip on his shoulder for sure. I'm also quite excited about Etienne. He presents a passing option that neither Dowdle or Hubbard have.
  13. Exactly... But his numbers seemed low to me initially. Then I remembered that half of his production were receptions.
  14. TBF, if Bryce wins MVP, Cannalles probably deserves it!
  15. CMC also had 3,292 receiving yards and 18 receiving TD's for us (per ESPN). I didn't see his YAC, but there were a poo ton of them which is also part of why his totals seemed light to me.
  16. If J-Lo is involved, I'm definitely down to Keep Pounding!
  17. TJ Watt put the final nail in the coffin while Cam was in the pocket, not running. It's easier to protect yourself if you know the hit is coming. I will always wonder how many Lombardis we would have now if we had given Cam some actual talent on offense.
  18. And ... if we weren't taking the full hit on Motonthis season instead of extending him again, Our money and KC's would be about the same. Moton is off the books next year (other than some chump change void money) just in time for Ickey's 5th year option, $17.6 ish, to hit. Assuming we don't extend Ickey before then. Also... depending on how his knee health plays out this season, I wouldn't mind finding a creative way to keep Moton around. He's been a frikin stud his whole career.
  19. Richardson looked pretty last year, especially as a UDFA, and I like Ransom's potential. BUT, I would love to bring in a Safety with a little more experience. Either Blackmon or Williams would be a great get and allow our youngsters time to mature.
