It could be that with the change in scheme, he is still learning the nuances and having to think more than react. In some plays, it looks like he doesn't know where he has to be and is playing catchup.

The Sophomore slump is a thing. Remember how many people were calling Brown a bust?

Enough time has passed - Feedback on the new playcaller
parker replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
We took three points off the board by going for it. I grt going for it on the goal line, but we had 3 tries close and failed. We should have taken the three. -
Burns draft classmate (edge rusher) inks new deal
parker replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the franchise tag is an average of the top 5, wouldn't that make his number around 25 million? I think we are using the tag unless he signs. -
We should go PA and take a shot

Can Mushin suit up? He could probably be at least oUr number 2.

I have yet to understand why teams pass on us. Make us stop the run first.

There are other issues I don't like about Reich's coaching style and game management. But we'll see. I definitely don't think he needs to be fired yet.

If there was a re draft when would Young be taken?
parker replied to Shotgun's topic in Carolina Panthers
He would still be a number 1 or 2. He and Stroud were a 50/50 shot and I'd have been happy with either. -
It comes from so many losing seasons. People just want the team to win. If we go 10-6, Bryce will be the hometown hero. Until then, he (and everyone else on the team) are under scrutiny for everything. Some of it justified and some of it is just from pure frustration.

It was damn close.

Is it the same folks saying Tepper meddles too much that want him to fire Reich? Are they two camps? It wouldn't surprise me if it is the same people.

He had Michael Irvin too. Let's not forget that was Jimmy Jones' first year as a head coach. They went 1-11. The next year they won 7. I lived in Dallas at that time and the criticism was intense.

Sanders just doesn't have the vision right now. I didn't see him play in Philly, but have a feeling he ran around the end a lot.

Did Thomas Brown take over play calling in the second half?
parker replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would count on it. Dolphins can beat a team in so many different ways. -
We played stout run defenses in New Orleans and Seattle. If you look at the Minnesota game, they often stacked the line on first down. As many as 7 players on the line. Everyone else lined up 10 yards or so from the LOS. They know our OL is struggling, we have a rookie QB and our receivers can't threaten them deep.

Vikes are keeping us in the game. We can't stop the run.

Panthers Really Lost to This Falcons Team SMH....
parker replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
We lost because we turned the ball over too many times. 2 ints, 1 fumble and 1 turnover on downs in field goal range. Not many teams can do that on the road. -
PFF grades after week 3 (not for the faint of heart)
parker replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the ankle sprain was real, but if he had to play he could have. A short week on the road and a hostile place like Seattle as a rookie was safer to sit. If it had been a full week at home, I think he plays. I expect him for the Vikes. -
Average time to throw (Spoiler alert: Bryce is 2nd to last)
parker replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Me too. I noticed that against the Saints. I think it's being a rookie starting out against two of the better pass defenses in the league. Minnesota looks like a good game for him to get right. Their offense will be a challenge, but we should be able to run or pass on them. -
Attendance for next week’s 0-3 Panthers v 0-3 Vikings game?
parker replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
Vikings have a good offense. They just can't seem to keep teams from scoring more points. I think we lose this one too.
