  1. Surprised the NFLPA is going along with this. New helmets = way higher chance of injury and concussions.
  2. I highly doubt Seattle would take Fast anyone, especially if we leave Foegs open. No Francis connect there. I’m hoping Rod can talk Francis into a draft pick plus someone like Gardiner but I doubt it.
  3. I don’t think we are going to see to many moves this off-season either. Besides filling the holes that may be left by free agency and the expansion draft.
  4. Though since that was almost entirely Hurneys tenure minus a year(?)… I do believe the value is a little off.
  5. Luckily that is not a choice we have to make this season.
  6. He had an off year for sure. First COVID than almost immediately a lasting concussion. I feel like he was having some personal issues as well from some of his comments post concussion. He still performed admirably. Just maybe not as much on the score sheet. I think it’s good to have another fin on Aho’s line as well. He’s locked down on a good contract for awhile. There’s no reason not to protect him.
  7. I’d bring back short if he took a team friendly deal and didn’t get injured. He’d ball out.
  8. Gave up bradberry you mean, If we had a real GM we would have kept him.
  9. Damn he won by a landslide too.
  10. Glad they got it done relatively soon. Gives them exactly a month until the cutoff date for protection list.
  11. Right on par, basically he has 3 years to win a cup I feel like. That will coincide with a majority of our big time contracts being up too. Let’s keep building!
  12. Could be. I didn’t see any defense 1’s in those clips either. If we bring our depth up I’d be very happy.
  13. None of those clips had anything to do with the OL. WR’s trying to body catch, timing issues, wobble issues, not getting separation. That’s said. None of those guys were the ones though in either clip besides Darnold so we’ll see if Jeremy has anything interesting to report today.
  14. Colts D was lights out last year(especially in the mid to late season) so unless they’ve regressed I wouldn’t use that as a measuring stick.
  15. Offense being worse than the defense is the step back. Our O was pretty much fine last year except when things were clutch… the defense not so much. I assume most of the big assets weren’t in the rotation though in the scrimmages.
  16. The “official” (I think it was nfl.com) depth chart said Chuba going into minicamp/training camp.
  17. I got up to 37 before I started blanking. Weird. I think it’s cause I read a depth chart a few days ago. (I know there’s one or two starters we’ve had for a few years at least that I’m blanking on too.)
  18. Also on the RBA situation and our scheme in general, I really hope now that they’ve had a week off they can get his(and his crews) contract nailed down. Dean is allowed to speak to other teams so he may be getting a HCing job somewhere else. Just getting really tired about reading the off-season rumor mill on Rod.
  19. I mean honestly I’m on the Svech >/= Ned > Paa > McGinn/Martinook > Dougie > Rooks. Though I wouldn’t qualify the Rooks in the same category we have a poo ton of them coming up this off-season, including but not limited to Geekie, McCormick, Ryan, Lajoie. It also may be time to pull Suzuki up and see what he’s got. Point is with a full(ish) off-season and camp I think Paa could really turn into a solid solid defenseman that fits our scheme and adds serious grit to protecting Aho’s line.
  20. And if you think athletes are immune go look up the Vancouver Canucks situations a month or so ago.
  21. A majority of hospitalized 24 year old age block who walk out of the hospital after COVID, have lungs that look like they are from a sixty year old person who has been chain smoking since 10 years old.
  22. I’m not sure he has the “football IQ” but we’ll see. Everything from the Jets points to no.
