  1. This mock draft is laughable. Drew Sanders in the top 10? Jalin Hyatt first WR off the board AND in the top 15? Abanikanda as a 1st rounder AND drafted before Gibbs or Charbonnet? 5 receivers in round one in a confirmed "weak class?" Ringo before Porter or Forbes? Yeah... This guy has no clue and is a terrible reference for players in this draft.
  2. Nothing you have said at any point is something I agree with.
  3. It really is an interesting test. They have found a way to test instincts and mental reflexes. There is sometimes no substitute for these traits. Could eventually help to evaluate all kinds of fits in the work force where people are required to think or adapt on the fly. Beats the hell out of the SAT or ACT in my mind.
  4. Was this his TOTAL score or, specifically, the cognitive score? Really asking, because that would make a difference. His overall score may have been the highest, but the one score could have been low.
  5. Hey mods... Can we get an extended vacation this time for this guy? Just until after the draft is over. It would be much appreciated.
  6. Says the guy spamming every thread with CJ Stroud propaganda.
  7. Backed* If by nothing, you mean facts, then yes.
  8. Happy for you two. Regardless of the fact that Ohio State QBs have inflated stats, he shows worrisome tendencies. He reverses his field instead of stepping up, he bails from the pocket at the slightest sign of pressure, he throws off balance into coverage instead of hitting a check down or throwing the ball away, he stares down his preferable read. Defensive coordinators will send 5 or 6 guys at him every snap, because he hasn't displayed the wherewithal to counter the pressure. And all of this might be bearable if he seemed to show the capability to carry a team when they need him. And he hasn't. Ever.
  9. How do Stroud's balls taste? Or does the flavor change depending on the day?
  10. Both Justin Fields and Troy Smith had better careers at Ohio State. And Dwayne Haskins' was comparable. They all failed (and Fields is underperforming as a passer so far). Ohio State puts out great NFL talent... Except at QB. Because the scheme doesn't ask much of them. So their stats are inflated. Denying that is denying the reality of the structure.
  11. Ok. We'll see. The NFL isn't the Big 10. And Ohio State quarterbacks have continued to learn that the hard way.
  12. He does make bad decisions. Fortunately for him, college defenses aren't pro defenses. So while he throws a pass into double coverage and the safety mistimes the break on the receiver for what would be a pick (maybe even a pick 6), he looks like he is making a great play. But throw that same ball on Sunday? Reality will hit hard. And I don't think he has shown that he knows how to adapt his game to veer too far off script. The Georgia game was the exception, but even then he left plays on the field. And he played as hard as he did in that game because it had real weight to it. But I don't see that as being a weekly effort. He is robotic. And he plays the game like he is on auto pilot. He doesn't willingly or easily adapt to turbulence.
  13. Well Bryce Young was molded pretty damn well and it won't be difficult to get him to a polished product. But to extend the analogy, he has less clay than AR to work with. It largely depends on the confidence, skill, and ambition of the artist and the courage of the financier to get the return on their investment.
  14. 1/2 inch in arm length and 1/2 inch in hand size difference is really not a huge difference. Russell Wilson was also 2 years older and had two more years of college starting experience. Two years in an NFL weight room is more than enough to add 5-10 pounds of muscle. Nitpicking season is here in full force.
  15. Agreed. I hope the team that drafts him has his best interests at heart instead of making him a gimmicky weapon. He's a quarterback.
  16. Ryan Leaf did enough blow and pills in his twenties to kill a herd of buffalo. His opinions and insights are not something I take seriously.
  17. These coaches have to feel like they are more than qualified to make this kid a star. But patience doesn't seem to be a quality Tepper is embracing right now. Don't get me wrong, I love Bryce. I think he will have a great career. But AR is a unicorn. If all of that talent gets harnessed he could do things we maybe have never seen or won't see again for some time. This draft is fascinating because of these two guys and the mystique of what their careers can/will be.
