If Elflein and Boseman aren't the answer
Mr. Scot replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Left tackle? -
Remember you saying you were going to be there but hadn't seen anything from you today. Look forward to what you put together...
-
You attributed my statements about Rhule to "bias" but you're unwilling to present an opposing viewpoint? Okay then...

If Elflein and Boseman aren't the answer
Mr. Scot replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
If neither of them is the guy, I don't know that there's an answer on the roster this season. Maybe draft a center next year. -
Has to be bias because nobody could reasonably disagree with you, right? I've asked this before, and to date nobody has stepped up and answered Outside of the "year three" stuff and other generally speculative bullsh-t and happy talk, no one has given me any evidence that suggests Matt Rhule has suddenly become a competent NFL coach and everything is going to be better this year. On the flipside, I can point you to over two years worth of evidence that says Matt Rhule is garbage. So if you've got an actual reasonable argument why Rhule is going to be turn the corner and be a competent to good NFL head coach this year, here's your chance to present it. Give me all the reasons why I should trust him despite everything I've seen so far.

The Bucs are a good team, but at the same time they do kinda feel like a house of cards. If they do fall apart this season, someone will certainly take advantage of the opportunity. I'm not confident it'll be us.
-
Largely because the coach is a dumbass.
-
This is the kind of thing that you put aside when a coach has earned your trust. Matt Rhule has not earned my trust. You may feel differently.
-
Jordan has been a starter pretty much up to today. Elflein remains one.
-
Is it coachspeak that he's running Elflein and Jordan with the starters?
-
Now that's a reason to feel positive... And then this
-
That's kind of the thing though. The competition really may be over (or at least should be) but practice reps are still being devoted to it. It's kinda stupid.
-
Oh please do it
-
Renamed?! You always abuse your power!
-
Almost sounds like pro wrestling announcers... They're now alone on that front though
-
Former Panther... Unfortunate typo
-
Bets on who the coach was?
-
Not that it'd help anything but I'd happily slug the dumbsh-t yelling "just beat em up" in that clip myself
-
Our starting five still includes Pat Elflein and Michael Jordan. Say what you want about Bradley Bozeman, but he can play both center and guard. I have a tough time believing he's worth than Elflein, an even tougher time believing he's worse than Jordan, and an extremely tough time believing he's worse than both. Gotta think we could do better at center and Right guard...
-
Something he probably wouldn't want to hear...
-
What we're hearing now is more along the lines of what I was expecting. Word out of Patriots camp has been that the offense under Patricia is a mess. They may show more talent in individual drills though.

The NFLPA guy...
-
Hey @rayzor, is this pin-worthy?
-
Is he the one that the Browns lost for the season or was that a new guy?
-
I'm familiar with Lazar. He's not somebody I'd call a homer.
