  1. Rookies, pre-season, playing toughest position in all of sports. You've got to give them a bit of time. They might still be bad, but at least give them a chance to grow.
  2. Well, sh!t. Another idiot taking up bench space and talking his way outta the league. I guess that if these guys could live up to their hype, they wouldn't have been free agents. <smh>
  3. Eh, I took a swing at defending the guy. Little's play certainly didn't help me out.
  4. I might be crazy, but I think by the end of the first quarter of the season (take a game or so ... the danged math no longer works out) our linebacking group will be better than good. Shaq won't be trying to cover for that turd in cleats Whitehead. Carter will show what he's got and I think we may see Perryman resurgent. Or Jeremy Chinn playing more in LB positions. I've got a good feeling about that very undersung group.
  5. Perhaps, but I think Little had the skills and the resume. What he had not had tested was concussion resistance from getting a Deacon Jones-esque helmet slap. It's like the Jeff Otah thing. At the time it was solid team-building. In hindsight, injuries cost us draft capital and a person who could have been great. But, that's the game and how it rolls.
  6. Had Greg Little been adequate, the Washington 'Balls would have been still looking for a new coach. That's how big of a deal that choice was. Changed the trajectories of not just games but careers. And it all started with a slap upside Little's helmet in a preseason game.
  7. A lot of movies can learn from that quick dash through exposition (do we really need to revisit the Batman origins for the umpteenth time, or Spider-man's?) And yeah, that first 10 minutes are just jaw-dropping. Literally turns you upside down in what you think the movie is about. Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but wow!
  8. These receivers did this well without CMC on the field in most games. To try and cover the three of them, plus Arnold at TE (hope he lives up to the promise) and whoever ends up being the third receiver... Darnold has some of the best tools in the league to work with. I sure hope he can make something great with them.
  9. It really should be on the Jumbotron before every game!
  10. Best one you've done so far! And that's saying something. Really loved the black and white-out effects!
  11. Has Christensen taken any reps on the line for special teams yet?
  12. Pride and Smith won't be on the practice squad after the first month of games. Someone will poach them for sure.
  13. I think we're going to be happily surprised with Morgan Fox this year. I like YGM but I think the new guy Fox is about to make some noise in the league.
  14. Probably has more to do with Rogers ego more than anything else. He can do almost anything, but he should know that running isn't playing to his strengths.
  15. May both Cosmo Girl and Jimmy Rest In Peace. They'll get to see us win the Lombardi Trophy through the greatest SkyCam ever.
  16. Can't argue about the violence. That first 15 minutes were brutal and totally unexpected!
  17. Maybe practices in Alabama's January weather are much easier than practices in South Carolina's July/August weather. Heat is tough on the big'uns.
  18. Won't give any spoilers, but what did you think? Tons of laugh out loud moments, surprises throughout and good story. Bringing back one of the old time world-threatening supervillains was great.
  19. First half, first half, first quarter. He's got to get out there and prove himself to the team. The questionable offensive line also needs as much practice as possible with him to learn his tendencies under real pressure and to understand his line calls. The only guy who should get any sort of complete bench time in the pre-season is CMC.
  20. It's all imaginary money. Ask the Saints.
  21. There's quite a herd of them. Lot of meat weight on the hoof, but I'll be darned if there's a prime animal in the bunch.
  22. Man, I'm working through a mortgage and getting two kids ready for college. Can't even imagine doing something so foolish.
  23. Honestly, our punt returner(s) didn't get much work last season. I sure hope that has changed. Still, you'd think by this point we'd be seeing something about an unsung player making moves to be the returner. Just hearing crickets chirp at the moment.
