    If every player overachieved and ignored his coaches, I could see this team finishing with a record as good as 2-15, but the odds are staggeringly against such a thing. You're looking at at least a dozen losses by more than 14 points.

    Had an excellent sophomore season at Maryland, earning All-Big Ten honors and once scoring a goal in five consecutive games — something a Maryland player hasn’t done since 2005. Bender was the consensus No. 1 pick, thanks to his ability to score as a midfielder.
