  1. Never, this team is like 0-108 when "Playoff" threads get started. Never learn.
  2. Yeah this could really age poorly. Pineiro is 0-2 on clutch kicks this season and while he's (thankfully) been excellent since then, there's no way you can bet on him until he doesn't choke when it matters.
  3. I’m incredibly excited either way, but if we get one big game out of him that’s a big bonus
  4. Hackett on his worst, most pathetic day, is 100x the coach Rhule is
  5. Oh at least 3 impact plays early on will get called back for “holding,” and that 3rd down Brady incompletion? Better believe “pass interference” is coming
  6. About the 1000th time Brady "pulls off" a "miracle comeback" lol 1001 coming Sunday. 21 playoff runs in 22 seasons, they're simply not having a playoffs without Brady unfortunately
  7. I mean it was decent enough to find footing for 321 rushing yards
  8. Idk about 10 wins. 8 would definitely be within reach.
  9. Exactly 5 years since the last home December win but IT FEELS GOOD MAN
  10. HELL YEAH FINALLY A DECEMBER HOME WIN AND A FRANCHISE RUSHING RECORD
  11. Suddenly ESPN's 25 under 25, a ranking from multiple beat writers that was published Nov. 29, is a vague list taken before the year?
  12. They literally have in this exact thread https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/181134-how-good-is-brian-burns-2022-campaign/?do=findComment&comment=6020078
  13. I'm not ranting. I answered your question clearly and thoughtfully. To no one's surprise, you were displeased with it, but that's an issue with which you'll have to come to terms.
  14. Regardless of standings, the organization is no longer in contention for the playoffs once the opening weekend concludes every year.
  15. PFF is not the be-all, end-all of player evaluation. If you like, I'll be glad to pull up a myriad of posts that agree with that assessment. Aside from the sentiment within here, it's fairly common to consider PFF a guide and nothing more. To your second question, as to my criteria: it's fairly simple, what's the prevailing opinion of the NFL world? Do coaches, talent evaluators, even media, consider Brown a superior player to Burns? What kind of trade offers did Brown generate? Did he land in ESPN's top 25 NFL players under 25, and if so, where did he rank? As has been stated before, I'm an Auburn fan -- just not a blind one.
  16. I've always wanted to see what he could do as coach of the Panthers
  17. He's an excellent player, which makes him a fan least-favorite
  18. We've reached the point of Panthers fandom where unless you think Brian Burns is a below-replacement level, mediocre defensive lineman, you're an unintelligent fan
  19. Because I, along with most sane people, think Brian Burns is a better player than Derrick Brown?
  20. You could have Brian Burns, or 3 mystery picks that add up to 1/3 of Brian Burns! Why wouldn't you take that trade??????
  21. Saints and Falcons fans definitely think higher of Panthers players than Panthers fans.
  22. PFF is only the gospel when it fits a narrative. Name adds up
  23. Speaking as a fan of both players since before they were drafted here, the only metric by which Brown is better than Burns is one called Personal Bias.
  24. The takes on this forum are getting so bad it’s not even worth arguing anymore.
