  1. Both this year and thr year before with the broncos, he. Was dealing with depleted defenses missing major starters whom absolutely impact the defense, and the ability to be aggressive. You haven't seen enough of him with a healthy defense to say ANTHING DEFINITIVE about how he would normally call a defense.
  2. Can't be aggressive with a mash unit of a defense.
  3. From the beginning of the year, losing major starting components. Not having a true bookend to Burns. No starting MLB. The secondary never started all it's stars once. Yet, our defense kept us in all but 2 games, despite our horrible offensive production. Hell of a coach to keep that mash unit playing hard throughout the year. He is an asset A proven asset.
  4. All very subjective. The reality of the team moving on from Cam and Luke, would have been rough regardless who owned the team. Tepper isn't blameless. I also recall many times I felt just as disappointed and discussed with the team. Anyways, wasn't trying to change your mind, just offering some perspective.
  5. I bit of perspective is good. There was no way this team was going to transition from Richardson to new owner easily. Tepper has been learning, while trying to.make us relevant sooner rather than later. Yes, mistakes were made. Not like he knew what he was doing, or any other potential owner. I'm not really defending Tepper, because he is a bit of a bone head. Just knows he wants the Panthers to win every bit as much as we do...if not more. He certainly hasn't been happy with the results on the field. No one can deny that. As a Panther fan from the beginning...this has been painful, and embarrassing at times. It seems that is just too easy to blame Tepper for everything...and context says you can't. Just this humble man's opinion.
  6. I don't mind telling anybody, I don't care about Pete Carroll. I know we still have Caldwell. Don't we still have Dom Capers too? I haven't heard of anything concerning his dismissal.
  7. Watching the games on championship weekend on Sunday, proved that all pass rushers, truly elite pass rushers don't contain the run well. Boss and young certainly did not against the Lions. So to sit here and say Burbs is one dimensional is not accurate, not without calling all of them one dimensional. As a fan of defense, I enjoy watching the defensive libe and linebackers play. Burns is not a 1 trick pony. You may get casual fans to buy that BS. Without Burns, our line will be pure trash besides brown. We can't do that. Burns can't be replaced with any draft capital that we have available, or what we can attain in a trade. Burns needs to be retained. If we ever get him some actual help on the other side, and improved linebacker play, the run defense will get much better.
  8. Moton is a rock. He's not going anywhere. I can see them trying something different at LT, although the options are slim to none at this point. Certainly not drafting a stud LT this season, and teams don't let students LT go. I'm confident Icky can play better with the right blocking scheme. Our new HC seems enjoy trying guys at different positions to see if they thrive better.
  9. I was shocked that was Tony calling the game. He just seemed like he didn't want to be there.
  10. How to destroy a coaching staff, irregardless of how talented it is. What's the point of hiring coaches at all if that is to be done? Might as well coach the team yourself Tepper.
  11. No HC would be forced a QB he didn't put his stamp of approval on.
  12. Evero as assistant HC just seems like the best choice.
  13. Nobody said anybody was a God. Glad you got that off your chest. I'll bill you for 3 hours on the couch.
  14. Brother, while that may be true, it's not my franchise to fug up.
  15. She's pretty heavily involved in her team. Most owners are. Just most are seeking any spot light for it.
  16. Sounds like the perfect case for some who wants to be considered one of the best. Let's get him.on board already! I don't pretend to know the answer to turning this team around. None of us truly do. We have ideas. None of those ideas will be used. I know that much. I had a feeling when Richardson was forced to sell the team, that we'd all realize just how good of an owner he really was before this team started seeing a good turn around. Didn't matter who bought the team.
  17. Some guys want the challenge of turning a franchise around.
