  1. You're evidently the league's insider when it comes to owners' wives, why don't you enlighten us?
  2. Hey remember when this was done in 2012? Good times. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/cranky-panthers-fans-buy-a-newspaper-ad
  3. Tell me you don’t know how PSLs work without telling me you don’t know how PSLs work
  4. I don't agree. The Bears second round pick is likely to end up like a late first rounder. His deal was expiring anyway and it's not like the Bears are going to compete for the playoffs this season. They could have just signed him in free agency with all the cap space they are going to have. They need as many picks as they can get.
  5. Don’t mind him, his commanders are about to fire their coach and rebuild again
  6. Why would anyone count preseason wins that count for literally nothing?
  7. Bring your peppers or moose jersey for the hall induction at halftime at least.
  8. I previously said that the only thing that Tepper has done right is putting the logo on midfield - I would also add that expanding the Hall of Honor was a good move (which I had forgotten about). These two things were extremely low hanging fruit that should have been done long ago, but I'll give credit for that where it's due. It's too bad Moose won't be considered for the real hall, he was a consummate professional.
  9. https://fansided.com/posts/caleb-williams-nfl-draft-ownership-rumor-impossible https://www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/nfl/2023/10/18/23922471/caleb-williams-ownership-stake-nfl-draft-rumors-usc-football These are two reasonable takes on the situation. It is interesting that all of a sudden this was pushed out on social media platforms and spread the week after the bad loss, even though it was based on a PFT article from July.
  10. It's not the end all be all, but I like the attempt to try to provide context to game situations (i.e. a 7 yard pass completed on 3rd and 5 is much more valuable than a 7 yard pass on 3rd and 20).
  11. Could is the key word though all around with counting on draft picks to pan out and finding 3 solid free agents that live up to their contracts that would have more impact than Adams. He is still an elite receiver for the next few years and could really help in Bryce's development, think of how big of an impact Tyreek has had on Tua. Do you think the Dolphins regret the trade and what they are paying him? It may be all a moot point anyway since I don't see Adams wanting to come here.
  12. They are 7-16 with him - he left Green Bay because he grew up a Raiders fan and wanted to play with his college QB Derek Carr and thought he'd have a better shot to win there over the next few years. He also knew that Rodgers would play the will he or won't he come back game that Favre played every year and probably didn't want to have to deal with that. I'm guessing he sees that with McDaniels and co that organization isn't going anywhere. I don't blame him for wanting out - the real question is whether he'd actually want to come here (I'm guessing not).
  13. Chances are whoever would give up a first for Burns is going to be picking late in the first round anyway, and we may be picking early in the second round with our own pick. There's a 95% chance that whoever you take there would not be able to contribute to the level that Davante Adams would be able to at any point in his career, much less right away when a weapon like that can help Bryce;s development now.
  14. The cost would be burns who it seems like we are not going to resign anyway. If we were going to pay him, it would be a top 2-3 of the market deal which would be a chunk of the salary cap too. I’m more confident in our FO to find a pass rusher again than I am a bonafide #1 WR.
  15. Even with his "diminished role" he's on pace for over 1300 yards and 9 TDs and ya'll are acting like that couldn't help us.
  16. So does this....sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38688182/browns-qb-deshaun-watson-put-line-return
  17. This was initially reported by PFT in July, not sure why this is resurfacing now around twitter. Aaron Rodgers asked for it in his Jets contract too (but didn't get it obviously). https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/aaron-rodgers-caleb-williams-were-among-the-players-jostling-for-equity
